after 39 months of application, got a letter from cic stating that your application is in queue waiting to be assigned to a citizenship officer to review >:(

Moti.

what is the reason for delays ???

processing time for non routine 35 month... any delay from your side etc...

submitting documents etc...

No reason from my side, as you can see No citizenship officer is assigned yet to review my file.

moti, if your file is now in queu , that means it was not opened yet and no body looked at it, what do you think was done in the past 39 months ?

Ouch! Bloody hell. I hope I don't get a similar letter. My RQ file has not been reviewed yet either. What a joke! Why don't they send a letter when someone starts reviewing the file? :o We already know nobody is looking at it, not news to us. If I sit on my ass at work for 36 months and send a similar letter to my client, I'll get fired. Goverment workers! Sigh!

I am unable to understand why no officer has been assigned yet , no information in the ATIP notes . When I contacted my MP he was told by CIC that my application is in process and sometimes applications take more time than posted on the website >:(

Moti, better for you to contact lawyer and check, they have not start the review
of your application 39 month ....

I'm in the same boat - 36 months in process by now, still no test scheduled, RQ is in queue to be reviewed...

If the delay is unreasonable from cic side, will cic pay for the writ expenses ?? any insight ?

You may check with the lawyer in regular cases if you win the case the lawyer

fees to be settle by other party... in your case check but must do something

otherwise there will be no time limit.. QAI waiting for 52 month and no

positive reply..
