Dear Experts,
I have a question to ask you and would really appreciate it if you could shed some light on my query. Our application is in the final stages of processing/issuance of visa (passports with VO). The application is under the federal skilled worker category (Dad is the principal applicant and rest dependents). We have been notified by our visa office, in our case the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi, that no further action is required on our part and that they have received all necessary documents. Our situation is such that me and my sister are already in Canada, one as a student, and the other as a temporary foreign worker (under the post graduate work program), while my parents are in India and will be travelling to Canada once the visa is issued. My question is do me and my sister have to travel to India and then travel back to Canada with our parents to satisfy the formalities at the port of entry or is it possible to simply meet up with them at the port of entry, when they land here, and satisfy the formalities that way? My logic dictates that latter would probably be possible but I am not certain. As you can imagine that way we would not have to incur the financial cost of travelling to and from India.
Any advice and feedback would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
