Dear all
I can hardly find a thread about post PPR steps, could you please redirect me to the correct thread, or answer my questions for the final stage of Express Entry:

1/ I sent my passport to get it stamped the Permanent resident visa. In how many days (at maximum) will we receive the passport? Is it all we need to cross the border? Is it safe to book a flight ticket for a departure in 5 weeks? I submitted it to Paris VO and live in Paris as well.

2/ Is there a deadline before which we must enter Canada?

3/ When will we obtain the Confirmation of Permanent Residence? I didn't see it in my online application. My status is always "In progress"...

Thank you very much for your advices.

1) I'm not sure what the Paris VO turnaround time is. For Ottawa it's around 14 days. You'll also need the CoPR paperwork they'll mail you. I think 5 weeks would be fine, but I suggest waiting until someone chimes in that has used the Paris VO.

2) Yes, your CoPR will expire on the date your medical expires. You have to land before then.

3) They mail it to you when they return your passport.

Thank you Mgnlky
I submitted my passport via Canada Visa Application Service in Paris and they told me that my application has been processed transfered to VO on 30 Jun 2017.
As you said, I have just reviewed my Medical check and found that it was generated on August 05th 2016 :confused:OMG !! I am planning to land on 08/05. It is so risky. May I use the Case specific enquiry form to insure if I can take a flight on 08/04 or must take a new Medical check?
Sorry for asking too much, but I have gone through a very long and hard process to obtain PPR, just like many friends in this forum. If for this issue my file is cancelled... :( I can't imagine...
