Whereas earlier it was “your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility”.

Guys does this mean that I should expect a decision soon? I applied on 16th September

You will get your visa with passport soon. When you get the passport dispatched msg. At that time you will see the visa sticker validity on your online account.

Hey guys,

I applied from India thru SDS route online on sept 11
Got biometrics msg on sept 12
Completed biometrics on 13 and it reflected in portal same day.

After that no response till now, I have applied for Jan 2020 intake anyone under the same timeline ?

If the eligibility review start that not mean they will take decision soon. They may or may not take decision now.
