Hi folks,

My visa has been rejected 2 times (SDS Category) for Humber College Post Graduate Diploma - Global Business Management course (may 2020 intake).

Reason (both times) - I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I have studied bachelors of business management previously and graduated in August 2019 (77%).
I then worked as a marketing executive for 7 months (October 2019 to April 2020). I am not doing anything since May 2020 to November 2020. I am 22 years old Indian citizens living in India.

1st Filing was done on 27th January 2020 and got refusal on 2nd February 2020
2nd Filing was done on 27th February 2020 and got refusal on 3rd March 2020

After 2 refusals, I applied for caips notes which stated :

GCMS/CAIPS Notes for 1st Refusal -

Applciation reviewed. Client recieved a Bachelor in Business Management (2019). Client wants to attend Global Business Management at Humber College. On review of all inforamtion uncluding PA's previous employment and educational history, their motivation to pusue studies in Canada at this point does not seem reasonable. Study plan submitted is general and I am not satisfied with client's explanation of career benefits. Chosen program at the college level at such an expense is illogical in light of PA's reported scholarly and/or work history. Considering previous academic education, employment history, personal establishments and ties to home country, I am not satisfied that the applicant would be a bonda fide student in Canada and would depart Canada at the end of the perio authorised for stay. Application refused.

GCMS/CAIPS Notes for 2nd Refusal -

Application, documents submitted and GCMS history reviewed. Previous refusal noted. Applicant wants to attend Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning for Global Business Management. Considering applicant's extensive education and previous work experience in the same field, I am not satisfied that applicant would not have already achieved the benefits of this program. It is not evident why applicant would study this program at sch great expense considering applicant already possess a higher level of qualification. Client has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Business Management. I am not satisfied that this is a reasonable progression of studies, which raises concerns regarding applicant's intended purpose in Canada.
Not satisfied on balance that applicant is a genuine student who would respect terms of authorized stay, nor that S-1 is not facilitate entry to Canada for other unknown reasons. Application refused.

My IELTS is 7.0 with 6 and above.

I have considered changing my institute and I currently have offer letter from University of New Brunswick MBA program | September 2021 at Fredericton campus.

University of new brunswick MBA does not offer a specialisation but the core modules in a particular field (marketing, finance, HR etc) can be selected in second year and I intend to choose elective modules related to Marketing.

Question 1 - How to convince the Visa Officer this time?

Question 2 - How to justify 7/8 months gap? I have a legitimate Marketing executive offer letter from a company, dated 12th October 2020.

Queestion 3 - What additional documents can I attach to demonstrate family ties, home ties? (I am the only child) | (During 2nd attempt of visa filing, I attached Sponsorship affidavit, Father's ITR, Father's Salary Slip, Provident Fund, An employment resumption letter from my previous organisation)
This time, I plan to attach CA Report which states 3 properties under my father's name, available funds, father's annual salary and jewellery.

Question 4 - What is the ideal time for visa filing for September 2021 intake?

Question 5 - I have never travelled out of India so how can I justify my travel history.

I humbly request you peeps to help me out or connect me to someone who can.

Address the concerns mentioned on your notes. Why do you want to study MBA? What do you want to do after?

I would suggest to go for a degree which should be in management but not exactly business management. Apply under non-SDS. Don't add all those hundreds of documents. Choose a university that is one of the top-ranking, matching your academic results. Your travel history doesn't mean you cant get a study permit, I have seen someone with a week old first-ever passport getting a US visa.

Thanks for the comment bud, I have considered applying to several Tier 1 & 2 universities but they do not accept a 3 year degree. How is University of New Brunswick?

Thank for your comments. How can I emphasize on that? I wish to work at a director level post MBA back in home country.

You need to address the issues raised by the visa officer
To me, the key issue seems to be the selection of course.
The MBA at UNB is a master's level program and the course structure and curriculum is quite different from my undergrad and Humber's GBM.

I think any bachelors degree less than 4 years is obsolete, minimum for a bachelors is 4 years. Since you have got 2 refusals so going for a much higher ranking university and a higher program is the best shot for you.

So? The visa officer is asking why you need to spend so much money to come to Canada for you education which makes no sense

It is not evident why applicant would study this program at sch great expense considering applicant already possess a higher level of qualification.

Chosen program at the college level at such an expense is illogical

It's a 3 year degree from the UK. Many countries (majorly Non- American) have a NON STEM bachelor's degree whose duration is 3 years.

The VO is incorrect. I have a "Bachelor's Degree/ Undergraduate", now I wish to apply for a program which is "Post - Graduate."
The requirement for a Post Graduate program includes a Bachelor's Degree.
Can you help me justify this point? My intention is to study in Canada and gain the educational experience. I wish to go back to my home country since the payscale of master holders has immense value in terms of job selection and its monetary benefits at workplace.

In Pakistan, all degrees at bachelor's level are 4 years minimum for the last few years. I don't know about UK, strange that universities in Canada won't accept it if the degree is from UK.

Have you not read what the visa officer wrote? The visa officer doesn't believe you're a bona fide student. Doesn't mean that a post graduate requires a bachelors would also mean that youll need to spend that much money for the level of education you're getting
