Filling up Work History form

Dear all,

I am currently in the stages of applying for EE, my previous jobs were all in different industries but eligible for NOC.

Should I just provide 1 occupation and select only 1 NOC for the industry I am interested in?

Or would there be any differences if I provide e.g 2 occupations and 2 different NOCs?

Your choice of NOC depends on 3 things. Assuming you are applying under FSWP,

1. You need to showcase 1 year of work experience within the last 10 years in a specific NOC 0/A/B to be eligible. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

2. Your CRS score gets maxed out at 3 years of work experience - this can be under different NOCs but 0/A/B only. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

3. You need to get at least 67/100 on the FSWP points grid. Work experience can fetch you up to 15 points if you've worked for 6 or more years in the same NOC (0/A/B). http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Think around all these factors before settling on Primary NOC. Your past experience can include multiple NOCs though.
