Filling out tricky Questionnaire, OUTLAND application

My spouse is visiting me on a tourist visa but her country of residence is still India. We are preparing the application and are caught up with a question on the Questionnaire where it states does your spouse live with you. I'm not sure what should be the right answer here as she is just visiting me, and technically living with me but she has to go back before the allocated 6 months. I thought the best answer is Yes and provide her dates of the visit with the e-ticket.
Also, in IMM0008, we said her current address is still her address in Delhi, which is still her country of residence.

Does these small things make my application tricky? Any suggestions would be really helpful.

Put Yes and use her Canadian address in the application.

She can apply to extend her stay in Canada before the 6 months is up. With a PR app processing, there is little chance of refusal.

Wouldn't this have the side effect of dropping them into the Inland sponsorship bucket?

No, it won't.

You can apply "Outland" while still residing in Canada. The Inland sponsorship guide actually recommends you apply "Outland" to take advantage of the fast processing times.

I believe Inland and Outland refers to the final visa office that will be processing the application and whether it is in Canada or outside of Canada. Outland, your file will be transferred to a "Outland" visa office (note: CPC-Ottawa is considered "Outland" when dealing with sponsorship. It was a pilot project meant to process those who are residing in Canada as well as those who fall under the "simple application" definition: no criminality, no red flags, etc)

Inland also has the benefit of allowing out of status applicants or soon-to-be out of status applicants a way to stay in Canada throughout the process. Otherwise, you must maintain a valid status (Visitor, Student, Worker) while your application is being processed.

My wife, who has been in Canada for 2 years now (first as a IEC, then as a student) received her decision in 4.5 months (currently waiting for the COPR) through the Outland route as she was processed through CPC-Ottawa due to her status (student) in Canada.

Processing of inland and outland applications differs a bit. The most obvious one is that for inland applications, sponsorship approval happens at the same time as the "selection decision," giving "stage 1 approval," whereas for outland applications the sponsorship approval happens before the transfer to the visa office and the selection decision happens there, internally, and without other notice.

An applicant who has lived most of their time in another country but is only recently in Canada on temporary status is not terribly likely to be processed by CPC-Ottawa.

Inland also has the benefit of allowing out of status applicants or soon-to-be out of status applicants a way to stay in Canada throughout the process. Otherwise, you must maintain a valid status (Visitor, Student, Worker) while your application is being processed.
An inland application does not by itself confer status, nor does it provide implied status (although the OWP application does). By internal policy, however, CIC won't refuse applications simply for the applicant being out-of-status, and CBSA does not consider removals of this class of people to be a priority.

Not always the case, CPC-O handles non-complicated applications that other VO's cannot fulfill in a timely fashion (I have gathered this information just by watching the forums and looking at who goes where from what country). Additionally, it depends on your definition of "recently". I believe there is a general "1 year rule" (not official, but a guideline), but I can't be arsed to find where I saw it (or if it was in canada for a year or on status for a year). In my wife's case, she was in Canada for over a year as well as had a valid status for over a year, so she had both angles covered.

That is correct, which is why I said "a way to stay in the country" and not "a valid status"
