Filling out the PRTD (Permanent Residence Travel Document)

Trying to fill out the PRTD and having a bit of trouble defining the questions. Mainly number 10

Q10- When were you last physically present in Canada?

How do you answer that? It asks when you were last physically present in Canada? Does that mean today? your last point of Entry or the day before you leave canada on your trip?

Any help would be awesome!

It can't be today, as you can't apply for a PRTD while you are in Canada. You must have already exited the country, so it would be the date that you left.
If you are, in fact, in Canada at the moment, you are wasting your time.

So if I am going on a trip for 5 days to the states then coming back to Canada do I need to fill one out while I am away ? They handed it to me when I received my PR Slip..

there's no online application. you need to download the form and submit it at your nearest VFS with supporting docs.

So if I am going on a trip for 5 days to the states then coming back to Canada do I need to fill one out while I am away ? They handed it to me when I received my PR Slip..

You can fill it out based on your first day outside Canada but it has to be submitted when you are in the foreign country (USA) to the local visa office there.

Ok. Thanks. Are you sure? Because, today in the VFS Centre, the service guys were suggesting online application too.
So, I was literally searching the way/link to do it all day! but could not find it. So, may be, you're right too
