Filling out the IMM5257B FORM Govt Positions

While filling out the Schedule 1 - IMM5257B form there is a question regarding Government Positions (Q7) - Have you held any government positions (Such as Civil Servant, judge, police officer, major, member of parliament, hospital administrator)

Is this question only relevant to the positions mentioned in the question or applies to every government sector employment.

I am an engineer working(equivalent to Grade-17) in a Federal Govt of Pakistan department (Civil Aviation Authority) do I need to fill this?

I think it only applies to positions on which people govern. Did you notice the "level of jurisdiction" (regional/national) in that? I'm also a govt employee and left this blank since we have no jurisdiction.
What are you doing about NOC or employer letter? Any ideas?

Yes I think the same but require some confirmation in this regard or if anyone else has done that.

Yes I sent the request for NOC through proper channel, the reply hasn't been provided yet but I have been told verbally that It has been refused due to shortage of suitable replacement

I don't know what to do now

ECE. I think you should still include it. Wouldn't civil aviation for Pakistan be under national jurisdiction of the country?

NoC is not required. It's just a supporting document; not a mandatory one. It wont harm you case if you dont submit it with your application.

I am a govt employee as well and didnt submit NoC to CHC.

Yeah the online application is pretty easy, they didnt ask for any employment related letter
