A quick question - my fiancee is visiting from Canada and we're looking through the forms for PR. Can we just print them up and write neatly in pen or do we have to type it all? Some of the areas we can't answer just yet as he's not home in Alberta, so I thought is we printed them up and started, he could finish there. He hates paperwork so much lol!

Save the PDF files on your hard drive. With the regular Acrobat Reader, you can't save the texts you type into the form. You'll need Acrobat Professional or some other (open source?) PDF editor.

I decided to type, because I know my handwriting isn't the easiest one and I want to make sure that there'll be no issues because of such a stupid thing. In areas where I couldn't type what I wanted, I still wrote what I wanted with pen or I pointed to an attachment.

Paperwork is not fun indeed, but it'll be worth it. ;-)

we did both typing and writing. Just be sure to use a black pin.

Thanks for the replies! I can't wait to get this process started for real (getting married in April, trying to get everything together so we can send off for the PR ASAP!).
