Especially on the validated forms through Adobe.
Since it skips sections you deem are not applicable (And blanks them out), do we have to put N/A in the blank spaces still (after I print the pages)? Should I put N/A in any space not answered? Just confused cause it says to do so, but yet some of these forms they just auto-skip to the next question if it's N/A.

Also on my Sponsor Evaluation form, under my jobs and home addresses sections, can I write "See attached page" since there isn't enough room? (And then again put N/A in the other fields or leave there blank?).

Just want to avoid having this sent back! I know when I came to the US we had to make sure all spaces were filled with information or N/A. Wondering if it's the same on all the forms for Canada as well!

Thanks @saddlepatch for bringing this up - looking forward to finding out what other people think on this. I have already typed "N/A" on all (empty) boxes on all forms wherever Adobe allowed me to, then printed the forms out and wrote "N/A" by hand in boxes that were left empty.

Here's an example: it asks "Yes" or "No"? My answer is "No". But then it says "If yes, provide details below" and there are some boxes for details for people who answered "Yes" - I have put "N/A" in all of those boxes too. I don't know if I should have done that.

For home address, it wasn't an issue for me because I have had just three addresses over the last five years while my spouse (PA) had only two addresses over the last eleven years and since she turned 18. But for my employment section, I filled up all five rows on the form and then as I required more space, I attached an extra sheet at the end of the form. I did not write anything like "See attached page" at all, although I know some people who did that and it wasn't a problem for them. What they did was they wrote "See attached sheet" in one of the boxes on the first row and left all other boxes and rows empty and gave all information in the attached sheet instead of in the form. I believe it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I will wait to find out how other people tackled their situations.

Some forms are filled by TYPING and in those many things are GRAYED out , U dont need to write N/A never on such. However any other blank NOT answered may clearly write N/A even after Printing would be OK. It won't hurt rather good, they like all columns filled.

I did the same when it comes to printing and putting N/A in greyed out boxes though I do think it's overkill as it being greyed out should be enough. But I just wanted to be on the safe side. And definitely N/A in every other normal empty box.

I did however put stuff like, "Please see the relevant attachment," in places where I ran out of space.

Thanks for your help everyone! I'll do as suggested and put N/A just to be on the safe side! I'm sure they won't mind. Better than leaving it blank!

My question though is when I put "See Attached Page" should I put N/A in the other boxes for Addresses/Employment or should I just leave those blank?
