Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, but it's already been such help.
As all of you know, this process is so confusing, with all of the forms and documents etcetera. There are some things I'm not sure how to fill out in the forms because the question isn't very specific, or maybe our case is just a bit weird?
I'm a Canadian Citizen sponsoring my husband for Family Class Sponsorship (he's Israeli and American)…
For the Generic Application form I have a couple of questions:
1. For Question 3, it says "How many family members (including you) are included in this application?
So would that be just two, because we don't have children? Or one (as in just him)?
2. My husband has a National Identity Document, but it doesn't have an expiry date. I can't put that in on the computer, so should I write N/A when I print it off?
3. Do I need to fill in what his "Intended Occupation" is (for when he goes to Canada)? He has no clue what he wants to do, besides study something (we are still young ), so should I just say he wants to go to school?
Oh, also he got his medical check (here in Israel) but he didn't check his passport before he went ( ) and it expired in a month from then… So he got a new passport, which is the one we are using to fill out all the forms. All of the information is the same on both passports, except for the number. So his medical check is with his old passport number, but everything else is with the new passport number. I'm not quite sure what to do with that since the medical check was so expensive and I don't want to pay for it again.. The doctor said if they contact him he will confirm it's my husband, but I'm thinking of just writing an affidavit and getting it notarized that they are for the same person? Any ideas?
Thank you!
I'm so thankful I found this forum. I tried contacting the embassy and that is just a huuuge headache!
