Wow that's crazy! the settlement plan and employment plan is the Holy Grail of the application. It is the biggest reason why we seek for their help. But then if that's the case, these agencies are useless. Now I know why most of you guys think they are no use.

Yeah Erin. CIC stands for Canadian Immigration Consultancy. Yong go2canada.com website nila. Ako bluemav, I tried to "infuse" (concisely) my plan with everything i researched so I had revised it again and again until the last day when I decided to take charge of everything and filed it myself.

Kaya sa akin ako ang nag fill up. then yung wife ko ang taga double check and consult sa mga expert dito sa forum.

Pero mga friends ko nag agency sila. Kaya nahihiya ako magtanong sa kanila ng info kasi nagbayad sila para dun. kaya dito nalang ako forum kumukuha ng info para free ;D.

For A-Cheng. mas ok na ikaw gumawa ng Settlement plan mo para unique.

That's good that you did it all by yourself bluemav! How much ba ang average costs ng agency there now? May mga kaibigan din ako na nag agency pero direct dito sa Canada, and it costs approx 200k pesos. whew!

Uhmmmm parang familiar yan ah.. yan ata yung agency ng isang kaibigan ko. Na frustrate yung kaibagan ko sa kanila kasi akala nya completo na at nasubmit na nila yung app nya last month. Tapos wild text from them na marami pa syang cocomplete ng docs. pinapakuha sya ng Proof of Language sa work at school eh may IELTS na sya.. kaya pinakita ko sa kanya yung guidelines na IELTS lang ok na. I feel bad kasi hindi man lang sya inassist ng mabuti, nagbayad pa naman sila.

Di ko sure kung magkano. yung iba 100k+... baka more or less 80K. (dagdag show money na yan)

I would suggest wag na lang mag agency lalu na expensive sya. Pagnagfill up ka ng form, read mo yung application guide sasabihin naman dun kung ano hinihingi sayo atleast sa cic form. Nakita ko na din yung form ng NS straight forward naman yung mga questions. So cic forms lang ang medyo kailangan mo ingatan.

Ask ko lang po kung maunang e mail yung NS form bago yung CIC application package o baka pwedeng sabay pati bayad hehe.

Dear All,

Plz read the article of Nova Scotia Immigration Lawyers(Elizabeth Wozniak Inc), posted on 6th April 2014.

She put some information like:-
The province has allocated 150 of its 700 nominations in 2014 to this program. As soon as the 150 are nominated, the program will be suspended until next year.

Setting aside the issue of whether Nova Scotia should have prioritized a “no job required” immigration category over resolving more pressing issues in the program (for example), the fact is, we have this now. One month into it, here are some of our observations:

- Most of the eligibility criteria are very straightforward. It makes sense to identify a list of occupations in demand based on labour market statistics. And it also makes sense to use the regular education, financial and language criteria.

- Those criteria set the bar very low. So it is no wonder the province has been inundated with applications since March 6. Last week when we dropped off some documents at the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration, we could not help but notice the 10+ courier bins stuffed with applications sitting in the reception area. And those were just the recent deliveries. Word on the street is it has received over one thousand applications so far for those 150 nominations. And the program remains open.

Same. I was asked for proof e may IELTS na. Para ala gulo, I complied. Until the day came when I was so disappointed with them. I took charge na.

Hello everyone. I am new in this forum. I am very much interested in applying for nova scotia RLMD program. My problem is I have hard time understanding for the forms to be submitted, is it only the application form together with the documents needed? Another thing also is do i need to include the passport copy of all my kids? I have 3 kids but my twin daughter aged 2 years old has no passport yet.
