Education - 10 ( Am I right? Philippine's BSN degree is equivalent to 10?)
Age - 16
Self sufficiency - 1

That's a total of 43 points. Errrr hahah. I am still lacking 6 points.It's unfortunate that I would be able to use my volunteer experience.

I am still working on my IELTS (Max - 6points). Guys, were you able to gain 6 points for the english language ?

I am interested to apply for Quebec Immigration but this time I will let my wife to be the Principal applicant, I just recently rejected with regular FSW program last month due to points caused by employment certificate ( duties were not mentioned and Testimonial of manager was not considered ). I am civil engineer and my wife is a nurse here in UAE, Just few days ago i found this trend and become interested to apply for Quebec, I have few queries before we start our documents preparation.

1. What is minimum IELTS requirement for the applicant and Spouse to get points.?
2. Do we need to go through Degree evaluation like what i did in WES for FSW program?
3. does required police clearance to be included in the application?
4. Are there any particular requirements for the nurses? like french, eligibility for registration and others.
5. Just to confirm how much point education to be given for BSN 4 years for principal and BS Civil engineering 5 years as spouse.
I was given by WES( organization authorized for credential evaluation for FSWP ) previously of Post Secondary 3 years diploma only and Civil Engineering Technologist.

listening 8 (i think you should get 36 out of 40 questions to score this)
speaking 7
reading 4
writing 5

try mo ifile yung volunteer mo under internship done in the context of studies. Baka sakaling tanggapin nila. Mag ielts ka na asap para makapagpasa ka bago matapos ang taon. Napakadali ng listening. Nakukuha sa practice yan. I got 8.5. Pamigay na nga yan at hindi nila tinaasan ang writing requirement which for me, is much harder.

Guys, I cannot stress this out more... Please read the document checklist that you will also submit as part of the application. Nandiyan na lahat ng kailangan niyong malaman. Napansin ko lang kasi na paulit ulit ang tanong dito sa thread.

To answer your queries, yes kailangan ng transcript at hs diploma. Tandaan na lahat ng dinedeclare mo sa application mo ay kailangan ng documents para patunayan ito.

Ask for BIR form 2316 from your employer if you were exempted in tax because you were below minimum wage. Pero if walang nabawas na tax at sss sayo, tanong mo sa employer mo kung legal yung work mo... mahirap i-declare yan...

My concern now is about the application. You said that an interview is requried to gauge an applicant's adaptability. If luckily, I am called for an interview, It will be held in HK. I read from the news that HK is suspending free-visa access of Filipinos due to the on-going issue about PNoy refusing the request of the CHinese hostage victims back in 2010. I hope this will not affect the duration of the application process especially for those who are about to receive a schedule for an interview in HK.

official numbers are not published unlike fsw. Some immigration consultancy firms say that the 20k cap will fill up in 2-3months time from August 1,2013 but the deadline of submission is on march 2014.

Bonjour! Ask ko lang if ever napasa mo ung application mo and nagbayad ka na ng $750 CAD and then sa preliminary required points na 49 for single e hindi ka pala nakapasa. What will happen? For sure your papers will be sent back to you, but how about the payment? will it be fully refunded? Thankkk you . merciiii!

Hi help again. I called my previous employer that I had been a school nurse. I asked for a detailed copy of my work certificate. However the owner told me that they only issue the standard certificate in which I have right now. So I asked them is there a way gawan nila ako ng work certificate na detailed. Sabi Nya they can't although if there's a form that she would need to fill up and certify they would do it. What should I do? Can I make a form for them to answers the questions for them? I was thinking of my contract kaso I can't find it anymore. Is anyone from here who has the same dilemma as mine?
