Filipino Nurses applying for Quebec

Hello. I am a new member of this forum. Your insights and experiences are very helpful for us starters. I am just starting to complete the required documents for the quebec certificate. Id like to know if a score of 57 is enough for me and my common-law partner to get qualified. We have not taken any french class nor Ielts yet and plan to take these exams after we submit the application. Though lacking on Language proficiency, we still got 57 because of our AOT and Education. Is it enough to get us approved? Also, I'd like to know if its necessary to submit documents that are not listed as requirements. I read some submitted their SSS contribution but Quebec Immigration website only asks for Payslip and COE. Thanks in advance.

You can submit an application with 57 points and without IELTS and French but expect to be called in for an interview. Once interviewed, you need to score 6 points with Adaptability under the discretion of the Immigration Officer. You do this by speaking to him in french. They will also ask for those documents once you get AOR. Good luck with that. I suggest you submit your application at least with IELTS result.

Hi Elmer20. You can log on to sss membership website using your SSS number plus the SSS number of your latest or current employer. Then may tab doon wherein you can print your detailed monthly contribution since the first moment you started contributing. Then according to bosschip he has his sss certified Sa mga branch nila. Pero you can go directly to your branch siguro

same thing happened to me. I had no choice but to get my coe from the call center in which ive worked for a month... Kuha ka nalang ng coe pero kahit wag na detailed.

oopps i think i'm having problem. ma ququestion po kaya yun boss chips. 2001 po i have 1month contribution sa jollibee as working student do i still need to include that or ok lang na wag na?

hi po! makakakuha ba ng sss cert (contribution) sa sss office mismo? hmm.. nawala ko kasi yung mga payslips ko nun kasi resigned na ako. tapos wala na daw copy ng payslip yung sa previous hospital work ko.. required ba talaga yun? yung regarding sa itr, wala din daw kami kasi below minimum daw sahod namin nun.. kainis kasi alam ko nadededuct ako ng 100+ per month for withholding tax. ask ko lang po kung mandatory po ba talaga mga yun? been a staff nurse for 3 and half years but resigned last july. your reply will be highly appreciated. thank you.

hi elmer as far as i know meron pa rin tayong itr. kasi me too before transferring sa current work ko ngayn dun sa previous work ko i still have itr even though non tax ang sweldo ko since minimum waige earner lang ako you can clarify that sa bir

Kuha ka lang ng coe sa jollibee kahit hindi na detailed at ideclare mo para safe.

Thanks bosschips. I know that it'll give me a better chance if IELTS is included but I guess I'll just give it a try without it. My plan is to submit the application then take the IELTS exam and some French lessons while waiting for the interview. anyway, they will still include the points that I will earn for the IELTS during the interview, right?

I also wanted to know what are the Tax and SSS form that I need to fill out to get an SSS exemption and Tax exemption. I cannot provide anyTax and SSS certificates I was not deducted of any tax and sss premiums during my employment.

Another question about the TOR and diploma, I read that College TOR and DIPLOMA are needed, but do I still need to submit my Highschool documents as well? I read most of the people in this thread also submitted their form 137 and Highschool diploma. Please reply to this inquiry. Thanks.

Guys, I cannot stress this out more... Please read the document checklist that you will also submit as part of the application. Nandiyan na lahat ng kailangan niyong malaman. Napansin ko lang kasi na paulit ulit ang tanong dito sa thread.

To answer your queries, yes kailangan ng transcript at hs diploma. Tandaan na lahat ng dinedeclare mo sa application mo ay kailangan ng documents para patunayan ito.

Ask for BIR form 2316 from your employer if you were exempted in tax because you were below minimum wage. Pero if walang nabawas na tax at sss sayo, tanong mo sa employer mo kung legal yung work mo... mahirap i-declare yan...

First of all, I've been reading your posts since July and I am extremely thankful to everyone who is generous enough to share their experiences and give suggestions to others esp the newbies. Anyway, I'm sorry that my question is a bit out of context, but, let me try.

I don't have any paid working experience as of now and lets say I got hired as a company nurse , January of next year. So for me to be eligible for the 1 year work experience (4points), I have to wait until January of 2015. I just want to ask if after March 14, 2014 and the 20,000 cap was filled, will there be another round for March 2014 - March 2015. Do you think the demand for nurses will change? Does the Canadian/ Quebec immigration change their points system / work demands every year?

I know that it's only the immigration who can tell.Haha. But, what do you guys think?( Just base it on the trend of the immigration for the last 5-10 years) . I will greatly appreciate your help guys. Thank you fellow nurses

compute your score at kung 49 pataas ka, magpasa ka na. Wag mo na palagpasin ang pagkakataon na ito. Malay mo, hindi na maulit na maging number 1 ang nurses sa list nila. Lakasan lang ng loob ang immigration. Its the best gift to give to your next generation.
