Hi guys!

I know there are many topics about Filipino nurses applying for licensure in Canada.
I made a specific thread for CNO applications for Filipino Nurses, to avoid confusion
about registration process with other provinces.

Please feel free to post your timelines and experiences, whether the college asked
you to bridge, do BET or take CRNE after your assessment. Tagalog and English posts
only please.

* Medyo halo halo kasi sa ibang thread dahil iba-iba ang process per province eh.

Ako I'm now waiting for the decision regarding my assessment.
I was asked to accomplish BET.

I'm a BSN grad with more than 3 years hospital experience.
Pero more than 2 years palang experience ko when I submitted my papers
last year.

I applied for General Class. Sana payagan ako mag CRNE agad kahit walang Masters.

hi! ;D i applied for RPN registration and got the results last week. i am now eligible to take the CPNRE but has to process other forms for the employer and PRC. good luck to us!

Hi Peanuts!

So you opted to go the RPN route instead of the RN route first? Or did you try the RN registration too?
I am actually thinking of having licensed as RPN first if I am not allowed to take the CRNE by CNO.

Goodluck on your exam! Keep us posted ok?

a lot of my friends advised me to apply for the RPN registration first thus i opted for it rather than the RN. and it's a lot cheaper! hehehe... ;D ;D ;D just trying the easiest way through the registration process. each has his/her own opinion though... ;) ;) ;)

That's true, It's really cheaper, especially now because the fees increased. from 170+CAD to 678CAD I think.
Fortunately I submitted my application before the increase.

RPN registration would really be a good place to start if I am not eligible for CRNE.

Goodluck to you!

Hello faithfully hopeful. Goodluck to us! I have a good feeling that you will be approved to take the CRNE because of your 6 years experience. Did they make you do the BET?
I applied too, but I only had 2 years and 8 months of experience when my employer sent my papers. I hope I become eligible too.
If not then I'll have to process RPN registration first while bridging instead.

How did you know that May is your decision month?

If u send ur application package with your fee now, they will send u an email i guess 2weeks to advise you that you are lack of sumthing...better yet you may email them to ask if they receive your application and fees after 3-5working days if you use dhl...i think it's 1800...i cant remember...hmmm..after 3days i emailed them..after 24hrs,they confirmed my email...that they receive the ffg. documents along with my application form and fees...and in the end of the email, please advise your school to send transcript of records and course description for us to start processing your credentials...i hope this info could help...and i hope sharing this info is not against the canadian forum rule...
;D ;D

Thanks faithfully hopeful. No I don't have an employer, what I meant was the employment certificates that my employer here in the PI sent to CNO to confirm my work experience. You're right, from what I've heard the bridging programs do cost a lot of money. But I also learned from CIIP that some colleges and organizations provide a certain amount of funding for bridging programs. CNO also sent me a letter regarding my documents. I was asked to do BET, but unfortunately it took me a long time before I submitted it because I found it very challenging. Did they ask you to do the BET also?

CEM requested my passport last November 2010, I had my medical exams last September 2010. I am also on heatspine's thread. Until now no decision made status on ECAS.

I hope your PPR arrives soon. Maybe we can keep ourselves busy by reading content on the CRPNE and CRNE. Thank you for the posts, I hope more Filipino Nurses applying for CNO registration
join this thread, so we can compare experiences.

Hi faithyou. PNA po ba as in Philippine Nurses Association?
Alam ko pupunta ka dun sa office nila sa may

Philippine Nurses Association, Inc.
1663 F.T. Benitez Street, Malate, Manila

Tapos dala ka lang money and PRC ID. Nakalimutan ko lang kung
magkano yung fees ngayon eh.
