why are they taking so long... 3 months na ako dito sa toronto and i received a letter from CNO to wait 20 weeks pra sa result ng assessment RPN/RN category. im not sure if that is true pero base sa timeline nyo 14 months na waiting pa din for RN assessmetn results. may30 starting ng countdown ng 20 weeks sa RN ko and RPN naman start ng june 25. sana me result na by october kahit ano. aabutan tlga ako ng jurisprudence exam.

Still i dont have a job in healthcare field. Dlwang agency na nakausap ko as psw and they're shocked pag nakikita nla ako sa interview mukha dw akong highschool student. ;-( ano work nyo guys hbang nagwawait ng assessment? help

btw, nagvovolunteer muna ako so far sa nursing home and so far okay naman. but i need a job kht part time. i live in scarborough

Hello sharmei, what I know is you have to wait for another 3 mos from the day that they received ur transcript verification from ur school. So the waiting period also depends on the compliance of our school. And i hope you dont mind me asking how old you are, you mentioned kasi na during interviews you are told u r like a highschooler. Do you think it is a factor?, so I cud start taking action to add years to my appearance hehe. thanks in advance..

hello sharmei, june din ung letter samin na na receive na nla mga requirements..Please keep me updated kung darating nga result ng assesment mo. I have my Msn pero its not a guarantee daw na ma grant ng permission to take the board. ALL i wish is it would really take them 20 wks max to decide on our cases, so we can move on and do whats necessary. I am optimistic, whatever their decision, will yield into something good. Well I guess I will be facing same problem as yours, maliit din lng ang body built ko... Godbless,!

Thank God i received my eligibility na for crne...after the very long wait of 15 months... OMG!!! i'm thinking of applying for temporary registration...anybody here who applied for temporary registration before? ;D

sana nga sumunod sila sa time na 20 weeks. maliit dn ba body built mo? hehe btw RN na agad pnaasses mo o both? nalilito ako s mga nagpapayo s akin dito n mga nurses so i applied for both. ntakot ako sa 15 months na paghihintay for RN assessment. ill update u as soon as i receive any news. you got a good chance to sit for CRNE because of ur MSN. goodluck to all of us.

:D :D

good luck and god bless ;D ;D

hi to all!
im 23 years old, RN here in the Philippines. From Luzon.

My mom included me in her Live-in Care Giver application when I was still 21. We already passed the medical exam last Nov. 2011 and already submitted our passports to Canadian embassy last Feb 2012. Grateful to God, Mom already received her Permanent Residence Visa last july 2012 and told us that by sept or oct, we will be receiving our Permanent Residence Visa together with our passports. Hopefully.

my educational background follows:
2009- BSN
2010- RN, 2 months volunteer at hospital
2010 to present- taking up another undergrad course (BS Psychology - now 4th yr) since we have to prove that I am still financially dependent to my parents.

Although I really wanted to enroll for a masteral degree before rather that any under grad course, mom stopped me because I might be disqualified to her application as told by her friends in toronto if I do so. We thought before that the additional years that I will be having in tertiary level will be credited in the future and will thereby help me to acquire my eligibility to practice nursing profession at Canada. However, as I was reading all the posts - such really awesome posts! - I realized that the CNO will not accredit it not unless it's nursing related.

I already visited the CNO website and I applied for the RPN package just this day.
i am not an IElTS nor Toefl passer sad to say.

I really wanted to thank everyone for the optimistic and empathetic post! They are truly helpful!
I'll keep you posted on my progress.
Salamat po! =)
