FILIPINO NURSES applying for CNO REGISTRATION ONLY - English and Tagalog posts

May expiry ba eligibility to take CRNE? 2009 pa kasi eligibilty ko to take the exam. This year lang approved visa ko. So most probably next year of Feb. ako take exam. Any info? Thanks

hi... i submitted my application last may 2011...medyo tumagal kasi last march lang din nasend nun isang employer ko yun employment form...siguro super dami ng applications kaya ganon katagal din assessment...i heard yun iba eh talagang umabot ng 1 year bago nila matanggap yun eligibility to take the exam...i salute talaga those who already passed the exam...they're done na with these waiting things...pero kung sila nga nakaya nila , kaya rin natin... ;D

patience lang po.. may friend din ako 3 months na nag aantay wala pa din.. enjoy mo nalang muna ang canada and self review ka na specially canadian standards..

and we also have to understand na gusto nating maging RN sa bansa nila so syempre siguro very strict sa assessment lalo pat di tayo nag aral sa canada..

but magiging ok din ang lahat once nasayo na ang assessment!! good luck

hello po! Nagpasa po ko ng application sa CNO to write CRNE last March 26 kaso naiwanan ko po pala at di napadala yung photocopy ng school diploma ko as required :'( Ang mahal po ng express and registered mail, kaya pwede ko po kayang ipasabay xerox diploma copy with the verification form na sinubmit ko sa school ko kahit( TOR and course description lang ang hinihingi ng CNO)? Hindi po kaya isipin nilang ako ang nagpadala ng papers? Kasi wala naman pong kopya ng diploma natin ang schools di ba? Di po kayamagtaka at i-reject application ko? Sa April 26 pa po matatapos ang TOR at course desc. kaya naisip ko po na ipasabay sana para makatipid. O dapat po bang ihabol ko na lang sa separate mail?

Sana po may makasagot sa mga senior members..,sir paulferrer.ms faithyou... Or members na nagpadala po ng diploma copy nila at granted to write the CRNE patulong naman po.

hi, if i were u..i won't take chances. Just follow their instruction of sending it separately. It might cost u a fortune but atleast it won't cost u the whole application process and all ur effort. Pag isinabay mo yan at nagtaka sila baka mareject pa application mo at mabalewala yung ginastos mo at pagod mo. anyway, that is only my opinion.

call nalang cno and ask them if wede isabay yung diploma mo sa ipapadala ng school just tell them your reason... if di sila pumayag then you have to mail it!!

ako i have tried calling CNO thrice na, pero never ako may nakausap, kasi ang tagal nakahold kasi daw busy pa yun customer service, oh my siguro talagang maraming callers..? ;D ;D ;D

pero try mo pa rin to call CNO to ask kun pwede nga ba yun...you can email din naman them for inquiries,mga after 2-4 days yata reply nila...

or the best & easiest thing to do eh isend mo na yun diploma mo sa CNO...hayaan mo na, talagang magastos eh...isipin mo na lang eh it's one form of investment na rin...wait mo na lang till you pass the CRNE & maka work ka as RN, then yun na yun HARVEST TIME... ;D

Sorry late reply. Nakakalungkot yung jobfair kung plano mo magtrabaho dito sa GTA. As in zero hospitals from GTA ang present dun.
May mga long term care facilities na may booth. Kung willing ka magrelocate eh maraming hiring sa Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan.

May mga booth din from B.C. pero inamin din sakin ng mga tao na nasa booth na pahirapan din makakuha ng full time employment.
Pero may mga part time and casual job postings naman daw sila.

Dito sa Ontario may mga booth din ang London Health Sciences saka Ottawa Hospital. May mga recruiter din from States. Alala
ko may isang hospital sa San Diego California, Texas and Florida. Pero ang hanap nila eh may Canadian citizenship saka at least
a year of experience (hindi ko natanong kung Canadian experience pero knowing the US eh baka kahit international experience
eh i-consider nila). Mas madali kasi makakuha sa US ng trabaho kung Canadian citizen na madali lang makakuha ng TN visa
para magtrabaho dun, sabi ng mga immigration lawyer booths dun sa jobfair.

So overall I can say na may halong suwerte din makakuha ng full time RN job dito sa GTA ngayon. Pero let's all hope for the best
and take whatever RN job we can find for the meantime. Canadian experience din yun.

Naku thank you po sa suporta! Wow thanks po, we can really use referrals, lalo na dito, ang laki talaga ng impact ng may kakilala
ka sa institution an inapplyan mo. Nagttry nadin po ako magapply as RN sa mga LTC. So far nakapagpasa ako online ng resume
sa Providence Healthcare (Scarborough area po kasi ako). Medyo malayo po ako sa Peel pero tiyatiyagain ko yun makakuha lang ng trabaho.
Siguro kaya ko kahit hanggang 2 hours travel time by transit hehe makawork lang.

Regarding naman po sa mga hiring sa ibang provinces eh may sari-sarili pong process din. Like sa Alberta eh kahit may license ka na
ng Ontario eh pag CARNA ka pa rin nila. I think, correct me if I'm wrong, that it's similar to the CVS of New York, parang credential
verification din. So pasa ulit ng mga TOR ganun. Pero mukhang mas madami talaga posting sa Alberta napansin ko lang.

Nauna lang naman po ako ng konti sa inyo dito sa forum. Siguro kaya nangyari yun eh sa Pinas palang nagpaassess nako sa CNO.
Kaya nagkataon na naprocess nila agad. Pero it still took me 10months to get eligibility. Dapat 8 months lang kaso ang tagal ko
bago napasa yung BET that time. Goodluck to everyone, sana maging magkakastaff tayo in the future. Kagulo siguro yun haha, I feel

Baccalaureate equivalency table = set of essays po na pina fill-up ng CNO sa akin
to get eligibility for the exams. I'm not sure if they still give these out though?
