Paul, did you get ur registration number??? I just called CNO few minutes back, per representative eh di pa raw nila nakukuha ung application for registration, I sent it last March 12 thru regular mail but up to now eh di pa daw nila nakikita ung application....ang tagal talaga ng CNO, sobrang bagal sa lahat....kaw when did you apply for your registration???

Hi sir! Naku wala pa po registration number ko. Nung March 12 po pinasa ko CNO mga kulang kong requirements, yung photocopy
ng permanent resident card ko po saka CPIC Check. Today ko lang po nakuha yung R-1 form ko, tapos sa Monday
ko pa po papasa. Kaya po malamang 3 weeks to a month ko pa po makuha registration number ko.

Sir eto pala may Job Fair sa downtown this Sunday and Monday

Hello po. Me package n po aq from cno kaso me question dun na show proof if ur a pr holder. Ang prob q po kc nasa pinas pa aq pero gusto q na paassess papers q. Me visa na dn aq at un copr. Pwd q po un nlng ung ipass q photocpy nun? Ung copr po kc wala pang pirma magkakasignature lng yun s immigration s canada pagdating. Ayun po nagpasa po b kau ng certificate or sumthng to prove ur pr holder

Hi, puwede naman "no" muna sagot mo dun sa question. Puwede naman to follow nalang yung proof of permanent residence.
Requirement po siya for registration, pero not for the test. Ako po last week ko lang pinass yung photocopy ng PR card ko,
and nakapagtest napo ako last Feb.

Hindi pa po ata valid proof ang COPR hanggang hindi ka pa nagland. And yes, I advise na start ka na magpaassess ng papers
mo kahit nandiyan ka pa sa pinas, dahil medyo matagal po processing time. Goodluck!

Big thanks KMAEP!!! when ka nagpa-assess sa CNO? ako kc Dec2011 nila na-received credentials ko from my school and sabi nila 12 weeks malalaman ang result ng initial assessment until now wala pa rin. pwede ba malaman ang fb ng mga rpn para maka join ako....TIA and good luck to us

Hi po, honestly hindi ko pa po alam kung madali makakuha ng trabaho, pero from what I've heard
eh mahirap daw po makakuha initially ng full time hospital jobs. Sabi nila try daw muna dumaan sa agency
tapos eventually makakanetwork ka sa hospital, tapos malalaman mo mga internal job postings.

But from my point of view, there's no harm in trying to apply directly to the hospitals first. Then I'll try
to apply to agencies too. Hehe hindi naman po ako mapili basta may ok na trabaho.

Hopefully magkaka idea ako ng jobmarket pag punta ko sa jobfair sa lunes.

Ay sabi din po pala ng iba mas madali makakuha ng trabaho outside Toronto. Siguro in smaller cities and towns,
that's great if you are willing to relocate for sure. Pero I'll try my luck here first, I don't want to move away
too far from my family at the moment.

Regarding CPIC po, hindi ko pa nga po sure kung ok na yung pinasa ko. Kumuha kasi ako police clearance
dito last year pero para ipasa sa employer sana, umabot yun ng 10weeks. Yun din po pinasa ko sa CNO, tinanggap
naman nung front desk. Confirm ko po this week kung ok na yun hehe.

I am not an RPN o RN dito sa Hamilton, ON..I am a PSW or Personal Support worker from a nursing home and hospital dito who is planning to bridge it to RPN..share ko lng experience ko..as to where I work ryt now..marami ako katrabaho na Pilipino who are RN's sa Pinas na nag try mag apply sa CNO while anjan cla sa Pinas..most of dem opted to be an RPN instead..kc as to what they say, kelangan tlga ng bridging dito..and a lot of our RN din was RPN before..parang stepping stone lng din ang RPN..they strived hard by studying and by working as RPN and now RN na cla..also, if ur working as RPN and u wana bridge it to RN, most of the places that u r employed are flexible nman sa sched..they're into higher learning..madami tayong mga skilled RPN, RN's dito na nakakabilib bcoz sa mga kwento nila..nakakatuwa mag work kpag kasama mo mga Pinoy..so kaya nyo po lahat yan! tiyaga nga lng tlga..and wats gud ting abt here is tlgang make-credit ung mga subjects dat u took or experience..my partner will be taking his Practical Nursing exam dis May..hope i can share some of his review materials..gud luck! ok so lemi get dis straight, andito ka na sa Canada but ur bound to Oakville to settle dwn or find a job wyl waiting for CNO assessment? Oakville is a newly developed suburb which is 30-40mins away from Hamilton. If ur looking for a similar type of job dat i hav ryt now, i think u can, espcially if u hav d xperience but ang mga employers dito is really looking for the Certificate which i have kc mejo mahigpit ang Ministry of Health or Ministry of Long term care dito..but ul nvr know..u wil find lots of job esp kpag nsa healthcare field ka ders no doubt..Oakville for sure has Long-term care or nursing homes but if u rily wana try the hospital..City of Hamilton has 5 hospitals under The Hamilton Health Sciences..and alot of the people from surrounding areas ay pmupunta sa Hamilton for jobs bcoz dats wer the demands are..so gudlak and madami tlgang work

yess i did take PSW course b4 working as such kc need nila ung cert, ung bf ko nga who's tking Practical nursing here hindi pede mag PSW kahit na he's tking nursing program kc specified ung cert sa discipline..originally under LCP ako (un kc madali entry d2) but as soon as i finished my 2 yr contract, i was suppose to tke Practical Nursing pro since Comm Arts ako saten i still needed to tke Sci and Math Courses here b4 dey wud let me in the PN program..so nag 6mos PSW muna ako or better known sa US na Certified Nurses' Aide or healthcare aide..so at d moment im working as PSW as well as taking my credit courses na Math, Sci..den bridge it to RPN.. its worth tking it

ok, so ur migrating here as a nurse? im not an xpert but sa mga katrabaho ko na RNs, RPNs dito, wen dey arrived here as an RN sa Pinas armed with yrs of experience, they have to secure an assessment sa CNO, RNAO para u'l know if u could pratice ur profession or u still need to upgrade..i dont wana giv false hope, but wid ur experience..i tink u hav a better chance of practicing ur profession here..maraming mga settlement org dito sa Hamilton, and napaka- accessible ng mga informations when ur just starting..u can use the public library, service canada and other gov't institutions dito..ders no scarcity of jobs here esp sa Hamilton..ul c wen u get here..and esp sa Healthcare field God bless..if i hav d tym, il ask around sa mga Pilipinong RN's dito on how dey started
