san ka sa Ontario? sa Toronto pala yung sinasabi ko, kasi mataas ung competition dito... pero kung magNorth ka or South, panigurado na my work tlg doon...

maybe that's the reason nga,& baka super populated na rin yun mga Canadians na RNs there in toronto kaya super steep din ang competition between canadians & internationally educated RNs.haayy.... are we on the right tract..? ;D ;D ;D

Anybody here who will take the CRNE at International Centre on Mississuaga on Oct. 5? Lets network!

Hello everyone! Newbie here. I'm originally eyeing for the RN route in applying for FSW, but the cap was reached and so, I shifted into applying under LPN-FSW.

I will be taking my IELTS exam after 3 weeks and Academic ang pinapractice ko. Yun pala, General Training ang dapat kong kunin. Hehe! Anyway, in applying for RPN in Ontario, is it okay if my experience is that of an Assistant Nurse in Kuwait? I'm a registered nurse here in the Philippines but I only got 8 months na paputul-putol na working experience kasi pinapunta nako ng parents ko sa Kuwait.

HI i am a silent reader of this thread, and i must commend the forumers who really take time to answer the questions posted. The information are undeniably helpful.Thank you so much!

Back to prinsipe, did you receive already the RPN eligibility? what other documents they require you to pass aside from schoolcredentials? thank you so much for your time...

Yung about sa DIPLOMA, ikaw mismo magsend sa CNO, iattached mo sa Assessment Kit mo... Then ung TOR and course description mo, dapat ang school mismo ang magsend sa CNO...

about sa BET. Yes, its true! March2011 tinanggal na ang BET...

how many months does it take to get eligibility to sit the RPN exam? and how long does it take to get your license as RPN?

does it take more than a year to register as RN? :o

i already got my PER and i want to take the RPN exam right after i land.... any advice would be much appreciated!

Hello guys! Ako po yung thread starter. I'm really sorry nawala ako ng matagal.

Timeline:

Sometime in August 2010 = Request ng RN application package sa CNO. Paper package pa nung time na to at 178 dollars lang
September 2010 = Started sending requested documents by CNO. Like Verification of Education etc.
January 2011 = Option form with BET arrived, Verification of employment etc.
April 2011 = Last requirement submitted, which is BET, hehe natagalan ako sagutan kasi...nabobobo. Confirmed completion of
requirements thru email by assessor (Mary Edward)
July 2011 = Landed in Toronto. (followed up status of app thru email -they replied it was still "on queue")
August 2011 = nainip nako - RPN package submitted. (followed up status again, personally at CNO Davenport Road, still "on queue"
September 13, 2011 = Decision mail arrived at the house. I am eligible for RN exam daw...masaya pero biglang kinabahan

DETAILS:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Grad.
Staff Nurse 2008-2011. Roughly three and a half years. But at the time of submission of requirements, only two years and 8 months
No master's degree
They sent me the BET.

Sana mas mabilis napo this year. Goodluck po ulit sa ating lahat!
congrats sir paul! i'm an RN here in Pinas with 3 years hospital experience. hingi lang po ako advise, im still waiting for my PER. sent na po application ko last 7-27-2011. pwede na ba ako magstart magprocess ng RN exam? malaki ba ung chance na maging eligible ako dahil sa hosp experience ko? thanks!

Hi there! based sa credentials mo eh mas matagal pa experience mo sakin at the time of my application sa CNO. Kung dun tayo
magbase eh pasok kana sa RN. The difference is they gave me the chance to do the BET.
or kahit masteral units.

got our visas the other week and i am now planning to start my application with CNO. i already have the application package. hindi kasi nakalagay dun regarding IELTS. tama ba na academic IELTS ang required nila? at what stage or when ba dapat isend ang IELTS result? hope you can give me ideas on this coz confuse lang talaga ako :)
