Oo, kung may 20,000 ka sa bank account plus my magsusuport sayo monthly then u are good. But yah, yan ang reason kung bakit nadedeny tayo ng student visa.

As long as you have satisfied the visa officer, assessing your documents, by meeting all the requirements, then there's nothing much to worry about.

For financial capability, just show proof na you hold the sufficient money in your bank for four months tapos may steady income per month.

Oh, don't forget about the home tie too. Malaking issue rin 'to when it comes to the vo.

By the way, nag lodge na po kayo ng SP application? If yes, can you please share your timeline and docs submitted? Hehe

As for that matter, kung makikitira ka sa kanya, I suggest you request a notarized affidavit of support from him. Kung minor ka naman, attach with your application yung Custodianship Declaration (notarized).

Siguro magiging issue lang yan kung ang magiging final insight ng visa officer ay mas strong yung ties mo sa Canada rather than Philippines. It varies per applicant kasi. May mga nadedeny because of having relatives in Canada or nabibigyan ng visa kahit meron. Weigh your ties between Canada and Philippines first, then check kung alin ang mas matimbang.

Kung accomodation lang naman, just ask for an affidavit of support from him stating na he will provide it to you, and you will come back to Philippines (or UAE if an employer or your current employer will hire you after) after your studies.

I used my uncle as sponsor for accomodation and other expenses in Canada (not including fees) on my first application pero hindi siya ang nag cause ng rejection and it was not stated in one of the reasons of rejection.

Yes, that will suffice na siguro as long as both accounts are named after you.

First time mo po ba mag aapply?

Mas maganda kung yung personal savings account mo nalang po yung gamitin, tapos yung account mo dito sa UAE. Pero, alin po ba sa dalawa (personal savings and joint account sa Pinas) ang may mas mataas na amount? (This is just my opinion po. I guess it would be better to seek for more advice regarding this to seniors of this forum. Try messaging Regina or mead)

Yes, they will provide the reason(s) of rejection. Akin po kasi sa finances nagkaron ng problem dahil hindi four months and up naka-stay yung money. Kaya I will try again soon

Donno how I can convince the visa officer that I will not stay beyond my permit. Also, I got visitor visa, I will be travelling to Canada by Aug to Sept for a visit to my brother, then back home to phils by Nov. I hope this will help me prove to the visa officer that I am willing to go back to my home country since every year I am coming home to Phils to see my other brothers.

I was thinking to show the joint account with my friend and tell in my SOP that me and my friend has a joint account and will eventually put up a business once I finish my studies. You think this will convince?

Provide a cover to cover copy of all (new and old) your passports that shows your immigration/arrival and departure stamps from the Philippines; this can be a proof of your home tie. Another one is probably stating in your SOP that your parents are back home (if they really are), at tsaka yung business matters with your friend. Those will suffice, I suppose.

both of my parents are dead already. kaya medyo alanganin but I still have brothers sa pinas that's why yearly I go home. next year pako mag-aaply after coming back from canada and pinas.

Sorry about that po.. Then I guess you won't have problems sa home ties kasi may yearly record ka naman po ng paguwi sa Pinas. Plus, it will be a good impression on the VO if after ng visit mo sa Canada, babalik ka po either sa UAE/Pinas.
