Hello, I have applied FSW in 2008, and rejected for some reason. Now I want to apply again with CEC which is more fit for my case. I graduated from college(2yr fulltime) in canada and worked as fulltime for about 3 years now. I wonder if it is okay to change my noc code. Before it was 2174(systems programmer - Type A) and now I want to change it to 2283(systems tester - Type B). I worked on both actually but IELTS score is not good enough to level A. And I am currently working as a Systems tester form more than 1 years now. Please let me know it is okay to change it. Thank you

Guys, finally....... I got news to share as well. I got my AOR from CIC Buffalo by regular mail yesterday The letter was dated Mar 29th 2010, which would be 6.5 weeks since Buffalo received my complete application package. What is strange is, I know that Buffalo has been sending AOR through e-mail since the past 1 year or so. My initial AOR from CIO NS in Nov had also come via e-mail. In fact, I was losing hope that I would get anything by this week (which was my 7th week of waiting) as Buffalo office was closed on Apr 2nd on account of Good Friday. However, lo and behold the AOR was lying in my mail-box. Any idea, why this might have happened?

Congrats S.A. Your and my timelines are very similar, but the big difference is your CIC is Islamabad and mine is Buffalo. I was reading in another post that someone was so pissed off that they referred Islamabad as the slowest embassy of all. Let's keep each other updated and we can see for ourselves who wins the race of the slowest I can bet that you all would have landed in Canada and my file wouldn't even have changed to "In Process"
