Possible reasons for rejections

Refusal of Application:

Applicants can be refused at anytime during the process of the application, for any of the following reasons:

1.Criminal Issues

if have a criminal record in any country

2.Financial reasons

if you have less then the minimum settlement funds

3.Medical

if you have failed medical exam

4.Misrepresentation

if you failed to be truthful during the application or omitted information

5.Non-compliance

if failed to provide any requested information/documents the immigration officer requested or failed to attend a Personal Selection Interview

6.Proof of language

Proof of language skills

7.Security

if failed in background checks

8.Inadmissible family members

if the above reasons for any family member indicated as a dependent on the application form

Let me update all that today at 5 PM i received my passports with VISA and landing papers.



I was stunned to see the postman with packet in hand, for a while i was speechless and then reacted. I called all my friends and relatives and everyone is happy. This forum is very close to my heart and supported a lot during this long time. Thanks to Tarak for unconditional support to all and well wishes to Gav to get his VISA ASAP caz out file xfer date is same.

Will keep in touch with all. I'll require lot of support to settle in canada. I will be attending CIIP session on 7th in ND. Anyone joing that session.

One more thing I am from IT background (Networking), anyone from same field need to know about job opprtunities in Canada.

why these visa officers are so slow in case of march file transfers????january file transfers got medical in october..visa got in february...this is one year procesing time..but we have to wait more???horrible.....please respond your own suggestions..it will reduce some stress.

As in accounting terns financial year ends in march and to finalise final statement of any organisation takes several days, similarly visa office is taking time to finalise our cases.

Just Kidding...........................................................

Now Wait is really pinching...................................... I could not understand why CHC takes 2 to 3 months after medicals. For Austrlian Immigration they take only 10 to 15 days to finalise the case.

Did u opened account after landing there or prior to that?

I am just a bit curious, like how you managed the Proof of Fund at POE..

If possible can you share your knowledge/experience here regarding that..

I had opened my account after my landing... they had done nothing about my POF.. I was asked how much I carried with me in cash... I said 6000 CAD in cash plus some TC's... CBSA officer said is it for both of u... I said yes... then he wrote it on the COPR and said OKAY...

Thanks to all mates for wishes. Yet long way to go, to bundle entire stuff in India then look for job and accomodation in canada. This will be tough journey for me caz i will be accompnied by my spouse and kid.
