Yes, you got to go to metropolitan city and get it changed. I also suggest, rather sending the explanation, you make an affidavit about the date of birth from a lawyer..... That will be a government document and shall help you every time in future for ur kid

Would you please suggest me CHC New Delhi has found a discrepancy in my sons' date of Birth ...Basically there are two different days in original Date of birth certificate and school certificate .Even his passport has same date of birth as of school certificate ..
We were following birth certificate issued by doctor to register him in school and to take his passport and original DOB was taken from metropolitan city only two years back ..

Shall I go to Metropolitan city office and change his DOB .....There are only three days diffrence in these documents ..
Then I will send them with explanation and all supporting documents..
Please advise urgently ..

Hi Guys,

I have land up in a strange situation. Please help me. My company wants me to trip abroad somewhere in November End to December, Now I may get medical and passport request with in two weeks(Hopefully before end of this month or first week of November) and if I send my passport for stamping I dont think I would get it back that early. Do I ? can you all please suggest how much time they take after medicals & is there any other way where I can go personally for passport stamping or submit the passport later for stamping.....

See, If u r thinking of to get the medicals and visa and then inform them then, it will take good time anyways.... I mean definitely you won't let ur kid leave behind and go Canada.... So, It is better to inform them now and it won't be delayed as kid won't have to go under background check process. You gotta do this asap as your file can be pulled out to process anytime..... Once processing has begun and they'll get your docs then, it might take some time.

Listen buddy, this is my personal suggestion...... I am not an immigration consultant or very experienced but, whatever knowledge I have from the cases I have observed personally made to give you this suggestion... Perhaps, you can take some other people's advice

Imran as you know passport return will take minimal 3 weeks and average 5 weeks after submission and these are best case scenarios

If you submitt the PP in first week of Nov, you may not be able to travel till at least mid of Dec. There is no facility to drop or collect passport by hand at ND VO

I am going to inform Canadian High Commission about the addition of a member in my family as I got the passport of my one month old baby..
Now as such people whose files being transferred to CHC ND are receiving the medical request.. and soon will be the turn for March guys like me.. I was wondering whether this process will create an additional delay, or my medical may arrive on expected time (i.e. November) as for other guys..

Inform them about new addition in your family ASAP. If you inform them at later stage delays will be even more
