read your earlier post regards RPRF.
My RPRF DD was dtd 26.07.2010 and got its receipt from CHC on 16.08.2010.
This RPRF was for my spouse and two sons amting to Rs37180/-.
This encashment ...does it have any signification or is it normal procedure?
You don't need to pay RPRF for dependent children. How old are your children?sokhi2010 said:Hi migrating...

I think you calculated Rs. 24060 X 1 + 6560 X 2= Rs. 37180. However this is the application Fees & is no longer payable at the CHC. This is what is paid to CIO, Sydney in CAD.sokhi2010 said:Hi migrating...

That's better ...sokhi2010 said:Hi Yukon, migrating..
Thanks for drawing my attention to this aspect of the fees.
I have always been confused by VPF and RPRF.
This amt of Rs37180/- is the VPF for my spouse and two sons .aged 11 and 17
Sorry if I mentioned RPRF. This VPF(Visa Processing Fee?) was deposited in the form of a DD for the above amt to CHC with my full set of dox in Aug 2010.
(as I did not make payment earlier with my initial application).
My VPF was paid in March 2010 with my initial application to CIO,NS.(CAD550)
I stand corrected.
Can I mail CHC regarding the status of my application?
Do please guide me in case anything has to be done. I would not like anything to go amiss due to ignorance on my part.
Thanks once again for your help.

You should ask your rep. to do it, else you can write directly, but they may not reply. Better is to insist with your rep. to do it promptly.sokhi2010 said:Hi Yukon..
Now the difficult part...
My application has been through a representative.
For sending the email to CHC...Can I go it alone? or do I put a cc for my representative too...(could you provide CHC email and a draft letter to go with it.You could PM me if necessary. This would be of great help..as my nerves are already taut to their extreme....Hope they dont rip just waiting for news from CHC).
Thanks again

I have and update...My agent has received a letter from CHC asking for the following....
1. Photographs of my Marriage
2. Proof of Funds.
They have given 30 days to provide all
I can understand the Requirement of Proof of funds...but I dont understand why are they asking for marriage photos when I have submitted my marriage certificate to them....
