Its 6 months not three

If your wife will stay in africa for more than 3 months then, she will need to obtain PCC from the African Nation and will have to submit to CHC. Also, it may delay your process as they will do background check from Africa.

Yea so far this is the only exemption but, before feb 2008, AEO cases were given priority.

I feel that the for pre june 2010 applicants, AEO cases are given priority and they will not have to wait for 2 years.

Yes there are chances of getting a rejection after Medicals/RPRF/PPR.

Regarding FIR, I think it depends on the crime, though not very sure.

What I feel, background checks and security checks are illogical after request of RPRF, Medicals, especially Passport request. There are many applicants who work for MNC and have a high profile job and one day they are in India, the next in US, the next in African Jungle etc. If they do security checks after PPR, and the security agency takes time to give reports, then the applicant's job is in a toss. Visa officer will just say NO LOSS.

VO should treat each individual with importance and should know the importance of holding ones passport.

Hello nano. I too requested for CAIPS notes about two and a half months ago, through my Canadian relative, but got a reply that my file number (New Delhi) is not in their system.
I thought it might be due to their upgrading to a new system in March.... until I read your following post.
Anybody have any idea what could be the reason? What should I do? ...........pls reply

I ordered my caips and there is not even paper screening.
Only points I received is in age. Rest all is 0. And I am in process since 26th Jan.

Lets see what the coming months bring for us.

Only points I received is in age. Rest all is 0. And I am in process since 26th Jan.

Here is my guess:

Your case is in process and points for age has been calculated [since it can be verified easily and quickly] and updated . They are evaluating other points and will be updating as case progresses. Probably background checks are in progress.
