File transfered from detroit to New Delhi

i applied for PR in Buffalo when i was in USA. Currently i m in CANADa on work permit. I got my interview letter from detroit but Us consulate denied my visa to go for interview, i inform detroit cic office and the next day they replied they have transfered my file to N. Delhi for interview and processing.

Can you answer me what could be the next possibilities. I also done my medical so do i need to do it again?

Hi ,

No you dont need to do medicals again , the only thing new delhi CIC will process is ur passport stamping/interview.
But i am not sure how long this will take. May be some other members can highlight?

Also what reason you gave for US Visa application ,Did u apply for B1/B2?
also what reason was given for rejection of visa?

the reason for refusal of b1/b2 visa at us consulate in calgary was your economic and social ties are not stronger in this country we advise you to apply from ur home country.

Also when i check my status online it says ur application status is widrawn, i dont know wwhy though they emailed me ur file has been transfered to n.delhi for interview and processing.

Because they withdrew the file in Buffalo, and when ND receives it they will then re-enter into the system. It takes time to get the file from Buffalo to ND.

how long is validity of your work permit especially at the time of your application for the usa visa ?

excellent; so it does happen, in case for any reason I am denied entry to USA or need to go back to India after submitting my CIC process, they could x-fer to New Delhi; thanks for sharing!
