File Transfer

Hi Everyone,
My application was submitted on July 24, 2017. BGC submitted October 2017,OWP received Nov. 2017. Med. pass March 2018. My husband and I haven’t received any correspondence since then, however I was told today my file was transfer to Etobicoke... Can anyone tell me what that means?

Was there a formal letter received that your file had been transferred? If so, can you provide the correct wording of this letter for clarification? If not, was this information provided to you by your consultant, lawyer, ECAS, GCkey or CIC CSR? What was the date it was transferred?

I called CIC call centre and I was told this morning... didn’t get the exact date when it was transfer but I assumed it recently because when I called December they were able to provide me with better information that my BGC was still been process.... I haven’t gotten any emails or mails about it been transferred.. so I don’t know what’s happening... Could anyone tell me whats happening or what to expect? And also how do I request for the notes?

From what I seen and from the responses of veterans on this site, when your file is transferred, be prepared to have your wait times exceed 12 months which is clearly your case. There is something about your application that requires further assessment and review. Of what? You won't know until you order your notes. I believe these links below maybe of an assistance:
