file transfer outside canada without me asking for it. post here

Hello,
This week I have received notification that my file was transfered outside Canada to my home country ' s visa office. I am December applicant and I have received my medical and paid my rprf 2 months ago.
Can anyone advise why the file was transfered? Or is anyone in the same situation. I was under the impression that CEC files are being processed in Ottawa or Sydney. I am residing for more than few years in Canada.

What is the Visa office and current residence address that you have mentioned in your application?

What about the Visa office you mentioned in your application?
Question#4: Immigration Office requested fro processing this application

Sounds like you need to contact CIC... the email could be an error, the file transfer could be an error... but you won't know until you contact them.

This happens a lot, usually when they get swamped they start moving files around for faster processing.

Unless they request more documents from you this has absolutely no impact for you.

No they have not asked for any documents just informed that my file has been transfered. I hope this will speed up the process not delay it even more. The wait is killing me.
 
I also get email from CIC today that they have transferred my file to New Delhi Office for final review, and officer from New Delhi will contact in two months, it is a long wait time.

Have you added your spouse in between of application processing and he/she is in India ?

I have added my spouse in last December, 2013 and he is in India

So here you go , Then its normal , May be his clearance(Security/Background/Criminality) as he is in india would require file to be transferred .
