File transfer from local VO to Beijing Visa Office

Dear Friends,
My Spousal Sponsorship file was forwarded to NVDO on 16th Feb 2021 and today I called to IRCC to know about the progress of file but they said that file is transfered to Beijing Visa Office. Is it normal ? Does anybody have any idea about it's processing time ?
Help would be appreciated.Thanks

I called IRCC today and my file was transferred to Beijing office ( I'm not sure exactly when tho)
My eCAS status updated 'We started your application' on last Friday.
I hope I can get DM soon...

Spoke to IRCC agent and found my file is transferred to Beijing instead of NDVO.
Ecas status changed to "Application received" on March 2nd.
Expecting "In process" status- AoR2 soon.

Some good news from Beijing, my ecas changed from application received to inprocess yesterday

I called in to IRCC to enquire about my wife's medical result status and found out that her file has moved with Beijing being the secondary office. They have not processed her medical results and it has been 2 weeks since the clinic sent it over so just waiting on that. They told me to contact Beijing for specific enquiries.

Received pre arrival today. No aor2 or decision made yet. Don’t know what that means in terms of the order.

I think it's really good sign for you! I haven't gotten AOR2 neither but recently I see some people got DM jumping AOR2 on other thread. AOR2 usually just tells us which VO is processing our files, isn't it?

My ECAS has changed to 'in Process' and 'We started processing your application ~~" line already appeared last week,
But nothing happened this week,,,

No update till date after that! Waiting with hopes.
Also, has anyone in this thread got DM in Ecas directly without changing it to In process ??
