Topic: Is it a sign for working on pre June 2010????!!

Hi MathCanada

Still waiting for Medicals, My application also finished one year after going into "IN PROCESS" in Jun 25th 2010

Hi Jstar / murthy909 / rmdharan / abhi812 and others who had been waiting for medicals,

I saw people getting passport requests, but did any one get medical request too?

Amazingly, my application completes 1 full year of being In-Process on June 24th. I saw that Buffalo's processing times are now 19 months. Based on fact that I submitted the full application to Buffalo in January 2010, it is already 16-17 months.

Emailing gets a standard reply that your application is in queue for further processing. It looks like I am in the most unlucky bunch.

Thanks,
MathCanada

NS: August 2009
Full app to Buffalo: January 2010
Buffalo to NY: April 27, 2010
In-process: June 24, 2010

Finally, my ecas Changed to decision made today. Still awaiting passports from NY visa office. Will update when passports are received.

Is this going to be a factor/and or is this related to the delays for some-I know this DOES not apply to previous applications, but whittling the UNLIMITED numbers to now 500 per occupation is super drastic and an indication that there is a concerted effort to seriously reduce if the rumor that over 250K applied from the USA during the recession is valid, then maybe these backlogged applications will be backlogged for a while...... >:(

Total number of Federal Skilled Worker applications received by CIC
From July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012, a maximum of 10,000 Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) applications will be considered for processing.
Within this 10,000 limit, a maximum of 500 FSW applications per occupation will be considered for processing. The limit does not apply to those applications with a job offer from a Canadian employer.

got my CAIPS last week..
PSDEC =1 and the rest is zero (0)

I noticed that my FSW category was changed from SW2 to SW3 because "sufficient evidence has NOT been provided for SW2". I don't know whether this has effect on my application..

Kurt,
are u FSW1 or FSW2/3 ? because your profile signature says you are FSW1..
Anyway, i don't think there is big difference in waiting times...I am fsw1 and I've been waiting already 16 months since buffalo aor.. (in NYC)

@dream
I originally applied for SW2 but CAIPS showed a changed from SW2 to SW3.. I need to update my profile..
