They are fairly quick on this.

Hi everyone,

I finally got my PPR last friday! But in the email, it said:

Kindly submit the Right of Permanent Residence fee ($490) to this office with the passport. Fee instructions are enclosed :

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/assets/pdfs/visas/50_1_fra.pdf

However, I couldn't find anything useful in the given link... Could anyone kindly give me some suggestions on how to submit the fees?

Thanks a lot and hope you all get PPR soon!!!

Hi Clare,
try the below link for fee details. when i received PPR from NY even i received the same link and it took some time for me to realize that the link they have sent is not working as it points to buffalo website. Good luck.

Hey Clare 2012

First of all Congratulations for your PPR....!

Well as per my knowledge you can pay your RPRF either online with your credit card online or can draw a Demand Draft in the favor of candian high commission.

Hi everyone,
if any one from this post has sent passport for stamping and still waiting, please post your time lines. we can start tracking the passport delivery timelines and it will help us and others to estimate and plan accordingly. i am starting with mine below,
Appreciate if people who already received passport in the last 2 months also can update their timelines to do a better data mining :-)
Please not - this is only for New York consulate.

Passport Req Passport sent E case status Passport Received
1. 5- Dec-12 6-Dec-12 In Progress -----
2.

looks like NY visa office has ran out of quota for this year, what i observed from this tread is they take less than 10 days to return the passport in almost 90% of cases, i came to this conclusion based on the timelines provided in this tread. but when i send the passport to NY office 2 weeks back neither my Ecase status was updated nor i received my passport. i think they are waiting for year to flip and they issue visa's to all pending applications when a new quota opens.
so hopefully next year will be a blast for all pending applications. So enjoy this holidays and new year, we will see each other in Canada next year for sure.

any thoughts are welcome on my above observation.

If they ran out of quota they will just hold off the ppr. It doesn't make much sense to me if they ask you to send passport but not send it back just because of the quota. The delay may simply due to the holidays I think.

i hope that is the case with them, i checked their website and they are working most of the days next week. lets wait and see as all these are our wild assumptions and no one really knows what is happening on the other end.
