Landed on Sep18,2012, at a local Immigration office in Nova Scotia. Now we don't have to leave and re-enter Canada.
Look at my timeline, it took two years.
Good luck friends.

Dude, i am with you. i have submitted my medicals 5 months back and not heard any thing from them, sent multiple emails and has not received even a single update. my medical received line is also not updated in ecase status. i ma really nervous about this. all my friends who applied with me completed their landing as well.

Hi every one,

I just got the med request along with my FBI request. the office just give me 60 days to prepare such documents, I am afraid the FBI will take longer, so can I request an expediting service??

Thank you,

Hi,
write a covering letter saying that you need this for your Canada immigration purpose. most of the time they will honor your request, also keep all you records safe in case if the PCC is not in your hand by 60 days at least you can send the documents(tracking no to FBI office, bank draft receipt) to consulate that you have applied for pcc in time and waiting and they will understand.

Friends,

I eventually got PPR..
I have a question from experiences folks who got PR already...
should I send only the currently valid passport or old cancelled passports as well..?

and my kid's passport is only valid for 9 months, and PPR letter says that passport must be valid for 1 year. should I get it renewed or send it as it is?

regards

hi,
Usually it takes a minimum of 1 month for cic to respond from the time they receive ME results. i have seen cases where people got Passport request with in 1 month and from my observation from last 1 year i see 60% got their PP request with in 2 months. I wish you will be in that 60% and all the best.
