When was your friend's medical done? Has your friend paid RPRF already?
Is he/she in NYVO, because the process of issuing PPR is slowed down only in NYVO?
Seatle and LA are still issuing PPRs...

They have not yet asked for RPRF from my friend, I believe. I will have to check with him on that. His VO is NY. Did his Meds in first week of May. It's been just over a month.

MR.

Hello on the average how long do you think it takes after Med.?

Hi All,
good to see that things are slowly picking up in NYVO and also i see members more active in this thread after a long silence. I am also waiting for my PPR. i did my Meds in April and Doctor sent the results on May 1st week. I haven't received my RPRF fees request along with my Meds, so not sure how long we have to wait.
1 general question to every, in case if they want us to go for further medicals in how many days we will get that request after sending the initial medical results? Doctor i have gone for med tests confirmed that every thing looks good and he sent a clear report but i don't see the Meds received line updated in Ecase, so i am little worried now. Any thoughts will be appreciated

See my previous post, with detailed list of people who got PPR... atleast 20 people listed with number of days it took...
but currently it is kind of stalled... No PPR has been seen coming from NYVO since May 11, 2012 (atleast on forums).

I dont think you should worry for that, if everything looked good... but there are copule of examples in this forum itself. They were requested further tests in about a month...

Please Keep us posted on PPR news, in case you get... I will also let you folks know...

Hello
What did they say when they discover inactive TB?...Are you from the tropics zone of the globe?
Because there are lots of differences in immunities between us. I have a friend whose wife was preganant
and they just won US-Green card. On one of their visits to ante-netal, they said she has TB, and later after
spending days in hospital isolation, it was furthur confirm she doesn't.

Anyway, treated illness does not make you inadmissiable...or do they?

Folks I have Visa Officer's email but debating should I contact her regarding PPR not sure if this is the best thing to do. They cashed my RPRF on march 12, don't get this why they rush to get all the money. Any input from you guys will be appreciated.
Thanks

I checked with few folks who have got PPR, there are several cases when RPRF was paid, but people still got their PPR pretty fast.

I have decided to wait, I wrote to NYVO, but no response... more over the processing time has been increased to 28 months...

VO dont reply to emails regarding cases which are within timeframe posted on website... even though mine is going on for 28 months and 2 weeks and posted time is 28 month... I did not get reply...

My consultant is suggesting we should not keep sending emails... I dont know why though..

You may give it a try if you feel like doing this...

Folks,
Despite my consultant asking me NOT to send email to consulate and as consultant firm was also reluctant of sending email, I dared to send email... but never got any reply so far... :(
