Folks I would like your input, looking at my time would you recommend me sending e mail to NYVO regarding my PPR. Over two months since I did medicals I dont even see medicals received line on my e cas.
I would really appreciate any feedback.
Best Regards
TR

I am also in same boat. I medical in done on Mar 16, no news yet. I also do NOT see medical received at ecas. But I checked in Fedex tracking they were received in march itself. I sent RPRF check with DMP Receipts, which has been en-cashed long back. But so far I am waiting.
canada0801 also in same boat.

I would advise that we wait for some more time... The medical document which I received had a line that we if comply to document/medical request, we should wait for 90 days before making any inquiry.

finally after 2 year and 2 month i just received my Passport with maple leaf in it. i sent my passport on 16-may, NY VO received it on 20-may. i just got it today. thank you all for your support and best of luck to all the other.

I agree about waiting 90 days as it will increase the chances of getting meaningful reply as opposed to generic 'we told you we are busy processing files' kind of response.

Question - is it 90 days from the day when they issued MR or 90 days from the day when fedex/courier delivered the DMP certification to Ottawa.

I believe it from the day Fedex delivered the package. Because lots of people take their own time to take medical tests.
Even I took almost a month after the issue of medical documents (first I received it late and then due to some or other problem doing medical tests got delayed).

Makes sense.

I wonder how many people who filed around 9/2010-12/2010 got PPR or Visas already [I mean the Buffalo --- NYC transfer FSW1 applicants].

ECAS updated to "In Process" and my address came back.

Friends,

I have a question, may be some experienced folks can answer, I have filed through an immigration consultant and want make a query from consulate (as I may have to make enquery in near future if my process is getting further delayed). My address and email address on consulate file is of my consultant in Canada.
Will consulate reply if I send query from my personal email ID?
Have somebody tried making enquery bypassing their consultant?

regards

I have done it. Buffalo VO always replied. Then my file got transferred to NYVO. The very first time I sent them a mail, they asked me to come through my representative only.

Then I should send through my representative only, my file is in NYVO... :(

Give it a try, who knows they may reply. If they ask u to come thru rep, then do it.

New powers allowing the Citizenship and Immigration Minister to reject an applicant to Canada who has already been deemed admissible by immigration officers, set limits on what types of immigrants can have their applications processed each year, and require that ineligible persons applying for residence on humanitarian grounds to already be in Canada when they apply.

Hi canada0801,

Any update on PPR? I am getting anxious now. Whenever I am calling my consultant they are saying my file is well within timeframe. But I see people getting PPR after 45-60 days after, for us its been 80 days almost. :'(

There are a few people who have been waiting for 8 months (I often read another post on buffalo applicants), I know a guy personally who got PPR 10 months after medical.. dont want to landup in that situation...
