It has the same message (.. your file is in queue for processing) but with added line " The office will contact you shortly and will you instructions in regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada."
How long is "shortly"? Anybody has the same experience?
Kurt0206,
no clue, but hopefully really soon. Please, keep us posted.
I have the same dates as you, transfer NYC July 14,2010, in process sept 7,2010.
Also still no medicals.
@dream
I know.. hoping to receive the medical request whithin next week since my company told me to go to site for 8 weeks.
In case we receive the medical request and I'm out of the country, is it possible to send the medical request from different locations? Meaning, myself from Madagascar while my family from Canada.
technically i don't see any reason why you cannot do it. Any certified doctor should be just fine. And the place from where you mail doesn't matter.
But i guess you will know exact rules from your medical instructions that u will receive.
Friends,
i just got medical request, dated sept 14th..
I was so depressed with everything that i cannot believe myself now.
i will keep u all updated.
good luck to everybody.
hi all,
after a long wait i received my Medical today.. Time period: in process june 15th 2010 to sept 12th 2011. It took 15 months to send the medical. of this 15 months i check my mailbox every day except weekends and now it has become a habit for me checking my mailbox everyday down the street.
I guess people who are all waiting close to my timeline are getting their medicals.. keep you all posted.
Congratulations jstar,..good news..
What is your NOC Code? where are you currently and which visa office?
Did they ask for anything else along with medicals?
