File Transfer after the Test

Hey guys, I felt like this was worthy of a new topic! I've never seen that before, maybe someone else on this forum has gone through that and can shed some light! Here's what my ecas says:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 06, 2014.

2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 06, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3. We started processing your application on February 21, 2015.

4. We sent you a notice on May 4, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 24, 2015 at 8:15 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

5. Your file was transferred to the Montréal office on June 4, 2015. The Montréal office will contact you.


E-CAS says file transferred after the test. What does this mean?

I am also a Montreal applicant, and I wrote my test on March, today a new line added to my timeline saying your file was transferred to Montreal office in June 5!!!!!! while my file already transferred in January before test.

my status also changed to decision made today.

That means that they asked you to do the test before they have really analyzed your application, as the test is something you are going to do anyway.

Thanks neutral! I already got the RQ (february) same day they started processing, so it might not make much sense for them to only study my case now.
