File Submitted at CIO & Medicals recieved. (Visa Office query)

Hi,
I had applied for Permanent Resident via SINP Student Category. I had send my filed to CIO and it was received in mid September. I got my medicals on 19th November which is less then 2 months. I have a query here, in the form IMM0008 it had ask me to put the immigration office requested for processing the application. I wrote Sydney, NS. (Canada). But somehow I got my medicals. My question is where will be file go for further processing and when will i know about it. I have applied as a single applicant and I am from India. I believe CIO is just an intake office it send files to Visa offices. so I have 2 questions :

1) Where will my file go for further processing ?
2) If CIO is just an intake office, how did my medicals come from CIO sydney ?

your VO is Sydney, they also process applications.

no sydney doesnt process application, they just verify that if its complete or not. first AOR comes from Sydney and then they transfer it to relative visa office, in your case, its either new delhi or Cpp-ottawa. you'll receive your second AOR in few weeks, then you'll know which visa office is yours. by the way when feeling out SINP application, which visa office you mentioned?

I mentioned Buffalo in SINP and Sydney in federal. There is one of my friend who is on the same boat. He got medicals from Sydney he sends medicals to Sydney. He says medicals are received by them and my file is still sitting there. If Sydney was not a visa office how can we get medicals from there and how can his file sit there for a month after medicals recieved and if your file goes new delhi your medicals and ppr comes together.

This thing is still isn't clear does syndey process cases ? if not how do they send medicals? I know people whose file is sitting there for 1-2 months after medicals recieved.

Hi Everybody

I am also under similar timelines as everyone else here. I think everybody is quite annoyed with CCP-Ottwaw's slow processing. I had sent my application in June 2012 , Medicals have been done but no PPR yet. All other visa offices are doing good on the timeline. Only CCP-Ottawa is so slow.

I read some of other members applied for GCMS too. I am also thinking to apply for one. Can anyone send me the link to apply for GCMS ? Is there any impact on our application if we order GCMS ?
