Hi Guys,
I applied for PR under CEC late last year from Europe, and assumed my application would be processed as an "outland" application.
However, I am very concerned that my application may have become somehow "stuck" in the system, and have no idea how to proceed from here!
GCMS notes show that my file was worked on in my home country, then sent (back to?) a LVO in Canada as an "inland" application. A couple of months later, after completing some of my background checks the Canadian visa office stated in my GCMS notes that I am not in Canada.
So my dilemma is that the European visa office sent my file to Canada as specifically inland, and then the Canadian visa office (after stating in the GCMS notes that I am not in Canada), don't appear to have touched my file since. This is a few months ago now.
I don't know if/think the European office will be able to help me in any way, as my application is not with them anymore, and the Canadian LVO has no publicly available email address and no way to try and call them from Europe.
Why I am so concerned, is that the office my application is at, either calls or emails applicants to come in to finalise the application process, however I don't believe they can/do call or email overseas applicants.
So it seems that they can't/won't contact me, as my application was sent to them even though I am not inland/in Canada, and I cannot make contact with them without travelling to Canada.
I have tried calling the generic call centre number many times and raised several CSEs, but have never been able to get anything other than a standard "your application is in progress", which of course I already know.
I really, really, REALLY need some advice, as I genuinely believe something may have gone terribly wrong with my application.
Hiring a representative in Canada is probably beyond my means at the moment, and I'm not sure I could stomach the cost/stress of starting a second application from scratch either.
Thanks Guys.
Cheers!
