File ready for an officer to review!!!

I just got GCMS notes and In the notes section:

Notes 1 says: File pulled from NCC, given to KD01882 (updated date 2015/03/19 at 15:04:30)

Notes 2 says: File ready for an officer to review (updated date 2015/03/19 at 14:40:58)

My Ecas still says application received. what does this mean plz help me. Is it getting reviewed for eligibility( my eligibility says in process) or for a final decision?

This is just a rant, but why can't CIC just put this information into the ECAS rather than making people apply for it? Seems to me like there's a whole bunch of things they could be updating us automatically on, to prevent us from going crazy with no information for months at a time. It should be like tracking a UPS package - every time the file is accessed or moved, there's an update that we can see.

As per my knowledge dont rely on ecas as its not fully trustworthy. so many cases u can see at here
in different threads . they guys were looking on ecas just mr or ip and they got ppr or dm meantime.
so ecas is not 100% sure and providing latest update.

officer review means you r on edge of finish line

it means there was a bump in your application. Some extra document needed or check or something was added or removed. Someone that seems to be a non visa officer, some kind of document administrator, gathers the documents and puts everything together for a visa officer. Once all is good to go, he adds the note that the application is ready to continue where it left off.
My case is the same. They started requesting employment letters and proof of entries to another countries. Once I sent everything, my notes said exactly the same "File ready for an officer to review"
That was in December 2014. Since then, nothing. I'm a March 18 applicant. I ordered my notes in Feb(that's when I saw file ready for an officer) and I ordered again last month hoping to see some progress.
No IP. 14 months waiting in land applicant AINP.

I called cic call centre after geting the gcms notes. I was told that my file was sent to an officer on may 3rd but they didn't get the file back yet and they are waiting for the file to come back from officer. I dont know whether the officer was an admin officer or visa officer. I was so depressed
