Hi forum friend, I have received mu CAIPS NOTES but i realized that the are two files numbers there. I can used both to check my
E-cas. Is this normal.

That could be your :

IMMIGRATION FILE NUMBER

and

CLIENT ID NUMBER

It is normal.

you can use both numbers on ecas. they are most likely representing immigration number issued by CIC and local VO respectively.
