i emailed to canadian embessy for knowing the status of application....according to them i have to give them the file number......i want to know, file number is actually issued by the embessy ? and they issue it with our medical call ?

if u have recieved ur medical call (Form) - on the left top corner theres a file no. written by hand with blue or black ballpoint (on mine) thats the file no. i think starting from some Albhabet like S1234678 etc....
hope this helps.

have u done with ur medicals, if yes then how many days are up, from the date of ur medical tests?

While accepting your application, the visa office usually issues the file number.

hey i m the same person who asked abt getting visa if embessy replied my email abt the status of purpose and they said that my application is in process and also they mentioned the file no in the email...so im left with no problem, now i think wat all i can do is WAIT...

by the way i submitted my application on 9th of july and it received by the embessy on 12th of july...from pakistan

right now i am in Doha Qatar and submitted my application dated 7th July to Abu Dhabi Canada Embassy, today i got email from embassy my case has been finalized so in 2 or 3 days my documents will be sent back to me.........waiting am i rejected or accepted

well i already start packing my bags bcz my annual vacations have been finalized if i rejected this time then i will go to pakistan to meet my family in 2-sep

1. Have u applied for undergrade or graduate studeni VISA?
2. have u interviewd on phone or personal and what were the main question?
3. How long it will take after medical to get visa and interview?

1. different people choose different subjects according to their background qualification
2. they did not ask me for interview but there is interview for student visas
3. it normally takes 10 to 30 days for finalize ur application after medical
