File # for sponsorship

Hello,
could you please advise, whether the sponsor can receive a letter from the Case Processing Centre (CPC) in Mississauga, Ontario confirming that the application for sponsorship was received by them? When do they usually give file number - right they receive the application or after they approve it?

You don't receive any letter to notify you that it was received. That is the point to send it with a tracking number. They send you a letter once a decision has been made for your application, and it will have your client ID #.

& in case it is denied - is there a chance to appeal?

& if it is approved - is there a strong chance that the spouse overseas will get his/her PR status?

Main reasons for a sponsor to be denied is criminal record or in receipt of social assistance.
The second stage is for the overseas office to decide. You can't predict anything just because the sponsor was approved.

The relationship not being genuine.

but if two love each other - what is the way to prove it? when two are together they think more about devoting time to each other than making pictures for future immigration records.
Does anyone know that msn chat, web cam & talk can work as a proof?

Letters, e-mails, pictures together, telephone bills, chats, airplane tickets, visas and stamps (from trips to see each another), etc.

If you are being sponsored by your spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner, you must send evidence of the relationship between you and your sponsor such as wedding photos or proof that you are partners, letters between you and your sponsor, and telephone bills showing contact between you and your sponsor.

Proof of your sponsor's visits such as airline ticket coupons, boarding passes, copies of pages of your sponsor's passport showing entry/exit stamps.
If you are a common-law partner or conjugal partner, provide evidence that your relationship is genuine and continuing and has existed for at least 12 months prior to your application. Suin, as proofs of relationship we sent:

- Some e-mails exchanged between my husband and I;
- MSN chats (just a 'small' sampling);
- Pictures of us alone, and of us with his family, and also with my family;
- Photocopies of cards and letters;
- Photocopies of cards from friends congratulating us for the marriage;
- Skype receipt of payment;
- Photocopies of our passports, visas (mine to Canada and his to my country), entry/exit stamps;
- Boarding passes from trips made to visit each other.

Lia, thank you a lot for your reply.
the matter is that the sponsor is Canadian & he met with his future wife in the US. For Canadians there's no need for visa to cross the US & they on the border do not make any stamps into Canadians passport. So the only proof for coming to see him can be her visa stamped in the passport.
But when they met first time - just got acquainted & then they met second time they were just friends, as she was married to the American that time. Then her marriage failed & only after she got divorced their friendship developed to another level - to the romantic one.
Could you please advise whether it will be a problem for them to prove that relationship is genuine.

Lia outlined a great list of what most people include with their applications. They can't just go by your word that its genuine. Proof evidence is needed.
Receipts even for visits.. is this couple married or common law ..

they are married now. they first intention was to get married in Canada, but she was refused visitors visa twice on their application once she arrived to the States. so they are a bit scared now whether it will be a problem for them during his sponsorship application

Well being refused visitors visa is usually because they suspect the applicant not returning back after marriage in Canada.
There are plenty of day to day things that you can use for evidence of a marriage.
Joint bills,
Joint bank accounts,
being beneficiaries in insurance
every day common things... letters, emails, chats, phonebills, pictures etc etc
