Hello Guys,

Good day to you all,

I have couple of questions related to filing EE application. If someone could answe those it would be highly appreciated

1. My IELTS is expiring in a month, can i submit my EE now or should i retake IELTS before submitting EE ?

2. My Wife's WES Evaluation is getting delayed, should i go ahead and submit EE and and then update wife's educational details ? The main reason i am submitting my EE now is am trying to complete the process before my IELTS expire, so answer to the first question will also answer second question to some extent.

Thanks much for your time

1. As long as your IELTS is valid, and you meet other eligibility requirements of at least one express entry program (FSW, CEC or FST), you can create an EE profile.

2. Your wife’s ECA is not required (but could add points) to create an EE profile.

You can edit your profile once you have the updated IELTS score and your wife’s ECA.

Hey Just a Lil Question.
in my EE profie when they asked for amount that i will be bringing into canada I entered it as 0. Hence They didnt ask any proof of funds at the end.
As I am a CEC applicant and there is no fund requirement So this wont cause any issue?
please correct if i am wrong.

Putting 0 is right as you’re applying under CEC and it’s not required. So the system will not ask you for POF.
