Few doubts - Kindly help

Hi all,

I am planning to do PG diploma from a Canadian college . Pls find my profile below

10th (2003) - 83%
12th (2005) - 84%
Bsc.IT(2008)- 75%
Work experience - 5 years
IELTS - planning to give by april

I am an Indian and currently working in a MNC for past 5 years and now a deputee in Mauritius till 2015 jan. I have found two courses that suit my job profile 1)wireless information network from fleming college and 2) PG IT from CNC british columbia (both are two year pg diploma)
pls clarify my doubts

1) Can i apply for study permit from mauritius ?
2) my visa approval in stake if i opt for wireless information networking as my degree is from IT ( seen in this forums that visas were getting rejected for IT/CS students )
3) If i opt for CNC british columbia , after the course can i apply for jobs in Ontario ?(both are two provinces)
4) Job chances in British columbia for IT professionals .
5) will my 5 years gap in studies be a problem for visa ??
6)any pointers for two years PG course from Ontario related to my studies .

2.its just a myth
3.u study anywhere u can work anywhere
4. Bc is developing place. Lot of mining etc
5.no problem. Check out misam at concordia in alberta. 2 year masters with direct pr option in alberta now

But can I apply for masters in concordia as my last degree was of 3 years . I heard for masters we need 4 yrs undergraduate degree .

your work experience will cover for that.

if you have 2 years work exp they are exempting 4 year undergrad.

and your percentile will be above most of the applicants there im sure so which is more chances.

Hey Propain.. one more doubt... is this course a 2 years masters because it just shows 16 month program ...if so in that case how my PGWP will be ?

Hey, did you meant OCWPP(Off Campus) or PGWP(Post Graduate) ? if PGWP , then I think we can apply only after the course is over , if OCWPP ,then as per the latest rules coming on July 1 you will get it automatically when you apply for study permit. @propain, please correct me if I am wrong?

i meant PGWP which usually get after the course.since this shows 16 month program, will i get 3 years Work permit ?

I hope for masters we wont get OCWPP ..
