Hi guys,

My friend got selected in the last draft with 426 points but now is facing an issue. In the application he mentionned having an uncle in Québec and System is now asking him for Relationship evidence and also this Uncle status in Canada evidence/proof (Copy of an RP or Passport).

The problem is that his uncle did not accept to send him a copy of the RP or Passport and only accepted to provide an invoice with name and address knowing that my friend is an Express Entry and targetting Ontario or BC.

Can he delete this info where he mentionned his Uncle (family or relatives) from the system without impacting anything and then submit the PR?

Below is the split of his 426 scope:

Age = 88
Level of Education = 135
First Official Lang = 125
Second Official Lang = 18
Skill trans - Education = 25
Skill Trans - Foreign Work Experience = 25

Thank you,
Warm Regards,

If he's a CEC applicant yes, he can safely remove him and explain he reason in a LOE.

If he's a FSW applicant he has to be careful that this change does not affect his eligibility (67/100)

He has to make sure that without the 5 points given under the six selection factors he does not fall below 67 points.

If he falls below 67 then his application will get rejected.

Hi & Thanks

We don't have any way to check this 67 score you mentionned.

This is what we have as this is Express Entry

Age = 88
Level of Education = 135
First Official Lang = 125
Second Official Lang = 18
Skill trans - Education = 25
Skill Trans - Foreign Work Experience = 25

Sorry I don't get it.
His score was 416
Nothing XX out of 100 as mentionned on the url above.
He removed his uncle line and 3days now his score is the same.
Any advice experts please?

With all due respect, did you bother reading at all?

"If you score 67 points or higher (out of 100), you may qualify to immigrate to Canada as a federal skilled worker"

"If you score lower than the pass mark of 67 points, you will not qualify to immigrate to Canada as a federal skilled worker. It is better not to apply at this time"

His CRS score won't be affected with this change it is his eligibility that could change.

His uncle now refused to provide PR or passport copy and only provided an invoice with his name and address on it
My friend removed him from his profil and is about to apply for the PR after uploading all the other supporting document
can you please confirm what needs to be done now

Lol, as DelPiero07 said, you need to re-check if you are still under FSW or not. To get in Express Entry pool, you first need to be under FSW or CEC. If you choose to assess under FSW, you first need to pass the 67/100 score. You have to check it manually by reading at the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp. Failure to get that score ...all your profile in Express Entry with the score of 416 or 426 are meaningless and just wiped away.

If you remove your uncle, and still get 67/100. You are fine.
