Hi All ,

Need semo help ...I am in process of filling forms and need to know if my wife needs to fill these forms as well. She is not the main applicant and will be accompanying me .

6.IMM5406E-Additional Family info
4.IMM5669E-Background Verification

Also in Background verification ...i have included few of my recent travels and exployer info but in the form they say there should be no gap ....Not sure because i have written some of the key point and it not time specific ...like few months gap when i was working normally etc .

Please help .

No gap !!!!! :o :o :o :o :o :o
I presume, 'no gap' means, fill the form chronologically and do not leave blank lines in between( wasting row). Surely not, what you have mentioned.

all her credentials should be included in your application and fill up by her, to avoid delay or return of documents.

I think it will be included in the NOC, I work as an IT Technical Support Engineer, and I finished Computer Engineer- I think it's not a big problem on them because the only difference is the position title only, but the kind of work sequence is almost the same.

I got my AOR last month so it means there's no problem with that. As you can see NOC 2147(except software blah blah blah...)

Great to know that, will add you to my buddy list. Would be great if I can know your progress.

I can see that you got Aor after 6 months. Iam fsw1 applicant. My bank DD is only valid for 3 months. To be precise 9 wks from the delivery of my application to cic, sydney, ns. I am worried now.
 
I don't think that 2147 is going to be quite , cic received my application on 06-06-13, and I am worried they might already have reached their limit
 
2147 - Computer engineers CAP will reach first.....As per the old stats.....keep your fingers crossed ....its a risk to apply under this category as per many experienced consultants.

I was wondering if I would still be able to apply using this NOC or is it too late?

I was an IT Engineer, however some of the responsibilities under this NOC I have not done before. Could I just put in my resume that I have done them?

I am going to apply for ECA using World Education Services (WES) with having following job duties and qualification .

Job Responsibilities :

a) Perform network design, installation, configurations and troubleshooting of enterprise networks which include routing, switching, network security,fiber optic, data center and other infrastructure.

b) Design and Implementing of Controller based WIFI solutions for large enterprise. This includes 802.11a/b/g/n standards with focus on signaling layer, roaming scenarios and debugging system protocol issues.

c) Installing, configuring, monitoring and administering policy deployment using Cisco ISE 1.1 for the wired, wireless devices.

Question 1: Is is possible for me to request 'NOC: 2147 COMPUTER ENGINEERS (except software engineers/designers)' ?

Question 2: Since these qualifications and responsibilities are common ( Similar to Computer system and Network Engineer Job Role) Is there anyone who obtain 2147 from WES ?

Hi Amit,

I have done Electronics and Telecommucation engineering and i have my stint with Telecom and IT companies and my duties comprises of Network WAN/LAN and installation and maintenance of Servers.

Just wwant to check for NOC 2147 computer science degree is mandatory...
