Fees to be paid TWICE - Online PR application and OWP application

Hello everyone and thank you all for your support!
I applied for PR Inland Sponsorship. During the process I paid the fees for the PR application, biometrics AND for OWP (100$ + 155$) and I got the receipt for the total amount. I uploaded the receipt to the PR application portal and submitted it.
I received the AOR so I logged into the OWP portal to proceed with the application.

I completed all the forms and uploaded all the documents and here I got the issue.

The online process to apply for OWP has as a final and mandatory step the payment of the fees, online, and there's no option to upload a receipt for already paid fees.
So, it seems the only option is to pay the fees (100$ + 155$ + 85$ for biometrics) again (twice) to complete the OWP application.
I can upload supporting documents (the receipt of already paid fees) before getting to the payment but this doesn't let me skip the payment at the end to complete the process and submit it.
Did anyone had the same issue before? If yes, how did you solve the problem?

Yes, I had to pay the biometrics a second time but in the OWP I included a letter explaining the situation and asking how to proceed with the refund of the biometrics fee since it had been paid twice.

Im currently doing this now and having to pay for the work permit and biometrics again, such a stupid set up. Will have to request a refund through webform no doubt

Thank you for your feedback, and yes, I totally agree, we have to submit a refund request!

Since you are going through the same process, may ask you a detail about the OWP application?
The sponsor received the AOR (which includes the sponsor's UCI) but I (principal applicant) didn't receive any email so I still don't have my UCI.
Question:
- On the 5710e Form, in the UCI field, which UCI did you enter?
(I guess the principal applicant if you already received biometrics or medical exam email).
I'm wondering if I must wait or if I can submit the OWP application leaving UCI field it blank (as stated on this CIC website page https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=772&top=4 under, under "If you have sent us an application before", PR application in my case).

The Sponsor receives the AOR with file number and UCI for the application submitted. The UCI and file number covers both the sponsor and principal applicant. Then "I" the principal applicant used the UCI number my spouse/sponsor received for my OWP application.
