Hey,
need help to understand what fees I need to pay for sponsoring spouse.

I am sponsoring my husband who is here already on a work visa.
I have submitted my application already (inland) and paid:
Sponsorship and PR fee - $1,040
OWP holder fee - $100.

I understand inland applications are exempt from biometrics at this time, so I did not pay that.

I am now noticing information on this forum about $255 for OWP, but where does the additional $155 come from?

Can I pay it now and somehow submit it to them so they don't return my application (sent this week).

TIA

You do have to pay $255.

It's $155 for the work permit processing , and $100 for the Open Work Permit holder fee.

If you are applying for an open work permit, you usually have to pay the open work permit holder fee and the work permit processing fee at the same time.

Thank you. I can't believe I missed this. CIC have already received my application yesterday, but I am guessing they haven't really started reviewing it. What should I do so they don't return the application back to me?

Can I pay today and mail another letter just with the receipts for $155 and hope they will see it in time to add to my file?
Can I somehow submit it online?
