Feeling hopeless.... Been taking too long help :(

Hi everyone.. me and my wife really starting to feel hopeless by now.. I had my interview done at dec18 2012 and it went well i was asked to pay RPRF fee and to send them Ink based fingerprints for RCMP records.. after doing that than its been now a bit over 4 months with no news no update's.. my wife came to visit me for the second time in my country and tommorow she leaves again and we thought by now ill get my papers but still nothing i have no idea what to do...

I know RCMP is the cause its been now 120 days already and they still dont have me on their systems so if its that late now it can be months! what can i do?

Did you try to contact your Visa Office? Like email or phone?
I think it would be helpful if you order you GCMS notes to see what is really happening to your application.
If you can't wait for the notes, try to contact your MP.

The rcmp does slow it down quite a bit. We sent our rcmp dec 18 and didnt hear anything untill feb 28.
Over 2 months.

Try sending a case specific enquiry to ur VO.
We did that, they answered in about a week. Pretty much told us we need to keep waiting but at least it was some form of communication

We did that, they answered in about a week. Pretty much told us we need to keep waiting but at least it was some form of communication

it could be cuz u sent in the rcmp and fee at the same time, sometimes the fee takes a few weeks to process
they might have processed one and than the other instead of both at the same time... I know it sounds ridiculous.. but its a possibility.

I would send a case specific email if I were u, just to see where its at, cuz 4 months is a long time!

I have heard that RCMP can take up to 4 months to process. The best way to get 'accurate' info would be to contact your MP. Don't feel alone. And stay positive. We're all in the same (miserable) boat.

If your interview is done, it means you're almost through. Hang in there!

Hey... Did you try contacting the RCMP? I am not sure if they entertain mails prior to the waiting period but it's worth a shot!

hi everyone. So i actually went to my embassy today to check whats going on they said that they waiting for alot of people RCMP checks and she told me there that before november it used to take them (RCMP) much faster and since than they really take their time and she dont know when it will come :/ she told me the consuler sent an email about it last week and they are waiting for an answer.... im so pissed off its not fair at all

who else here is waiting for RCMP?
